Yesterday, I had a high school baseball player come in after being 'spiked' by a teammate. His big toe was bloody as hell. His nail was intact but fully coated in a deep red. While cleaning the wound, I found the blood on his toenail had coagulated to a great degree...I had to laugh when he informed me his little sister had 'painted' it red while he was sleeping!

Ha :) I've heard other stories of guys getting a foot injury and not wanting to take their shoes and socks off because their nails are painted. Usually they say their girlfriend or wife did it or their little sister. Sometimes I wonder who really did it. :)
I suppose guys can just use a clear paint if they want to protect the nails and are worried about being ridiculed.

I have the excuse of having a daughter. Atleast with women in the house I have nail polish remover and cotton balls :)

Bikeracer that is believable. My daughter and some of her friends have done that to my son. On several occasions he has woken up to painted nails, or curlers in his hair!

When I was growing up I had a friend who always bothered his sisters and their friends. Every so often in the summer time (when we went barefooted) they would gang up on him, tie him up and paint his toenails or put makeup, etc. on his face. Then they would take his picture and show it to their friends and his friends.

Yeah remember doing stuff like that too Irishred, but now days some guys are into the make up and painting the finger and toe nails. My hair dressor knoes more about cosmetics and clothes styles than I do!

That's funny, Irish. I'm glad no one did it to me :) Once in a while we would take someone's shoes from them and make them go barefoot. We would sometimes hide the shoes and make them find them :)

Have any of the guys here ever had a pedicure? I always thought it was a girly thing...but the more I think about it, I wouldn't mind having one.

Kim, I knew more about makeup and hair then my Ex did. She didnt quite like that. But i was in the theater and had taken makeup classes. I was good at making people older, she was goood at making herself younger, so it worked out well :D I also know style, our house was mostly my work :) I dress like a slob (Cause I hate clothes and dont care whats on me) but I can make a house look great, if I really wanna :)

My co-workers were going to get me a pedicure gift cert. for my B-Day and I was looking forward to it, then they forgot :( I would get one done though, just havnt done it yet :)

FireProf sometimes guys do get pedicures. The ones I get our for my toe nails, but I understant they also remove toe nail problems, dead tissue from the toes, and warts and bunions, and etc.
