whizzo, sorry about shifting from feet to jocks. For some reason the powder made me think of the prank. Blame Kim, she mentioned the powder. lol

Some people are afraid to bare their feet in public due to toenail fungus. One radio doctor had heard enough callers recommend Vicks salve that he's had patients try it and it does work. The proceedure is to clean and trim the nails daily, once or twice a day rub the Vicks onto the surface and under the infected nails. It's much cheaper than those prescription pills, doesn't require a prescription from a doctor, and no side effects other than better smelling feet. Much rather the smell of Vicks over the smell of fungun infected feet.

No fungus here sailor dave. Keep my toe nails painted, doesn't give fungus a chance to grow!

I've heard that some of the prescription drugs for nail fungus have side effects and can cause problems with the liver. Something that is applied to the nail would be preferable. I never heard of the Vick's treatment. Thanks for posting about it.

Seems like bare feet and polished nails would help prevent nail fungus. It keeps the feet and nails dry as opposed to being moist inside shoes which tends to promote fungus growth.
