You would think that would have been banned by now. Wouldn't it be easy to get on your face and in your eyes playing football?

Papabear,
A cruell thought, but I wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't been tried, especially as a hazing stunt.

I remember that in school when a joke shop opened up in town. Seems like everyone had a packet of itching powder.

think they have given up on lime in most places and use some kind of paint, first for safety reasons, and secondly, since many fields are now multi-purpose, you can remove the lines with a hose and re-mark for the next sport.

I heard that they had to stop using lime to mark the football fields because some of the pro football players kept trying to sniff the lines!

Kim you mentioned the itching powder. In high school we used to do a prank. We would smear some "atomic bomb" (it's like ben gay) on the inside of a guys jock before practice. The atomic bomb would start to warm (real hot sensation) the skin. It was funny to watch the guy run off the field or court to change out of his jock strap.

Well, now being a nudist, we don't have to worry about things like jocks.
