I remember watching a movie about a woman who was a police woman and was photographed for "Playboy". Her family was okay with it, but it cost her her job, and she eventually had to move because all the towns people would snicker at her because they had seen the pictures.

I'd pose, though I doubt there will be anyone knocking down my door to ask.

Snickering at Nudity (LOL) I should cry out loud. Can you imagine??? I thought that snickering at nude people goes out when you leave second grade.
Most of us couldn't even make the playboy/playgirl cut. She should hold her head high!!!

Kim, a number of years ago, that also happened to some female servicemembers. They posed nude in Playboy were discharged from the military.

I'd do it. I think these calendars are cool and they all usually support a good cause. I actually collect them each year from various sources and put them up in the different places we keep calendars at the house.
I wouldn't worry about being seen in them either since I haven't seen one "nude" calendar yet where you could actually see frontal nudity. They're always coy little photos that are more amusing than shocking. Your grandmother could be in them without shame.

Maybe there's a way we could all do this without repercussions. We could pose with our heads cut off at the top of the picture, or masked. The mask would add an element of mystery, and it would be an interesting little gimmick that (I think) no one's tried yet. That way we could all pose and remain anonymous.

OWIE!! Hopefully not THROUGH the eyes! Of course, we could all wear black bars OVER our eyes.
Hey, I'm starting to like this idea.

I would pose for a nude calendar if it was for a good cause. A year ago I had my hair all grown out down to my waist and donated it to Locks of Love for cancer survivors. It was a good cause. I'm not sure what causes are seeking models for a nude calendar.

I think the only problem you would have Melissa is if someone brought the calender to school. I am sure the school board would have a hayday with it!

If it was for a good cause I wouldn't be worried about it. Besides, I'm working on getting a job in a place with a union and the ACLU would be all over it if the school board was annoying me because of that. I like to think so, anyway. Isn't it against the law to discriminate against those who are on a nude calendar (esp. for a good fundraiser)?

I was in Key Largo and Key West last week and visited a place called "Theater of the Sea". It is an aquarium type facility were they rescue hurt sea wildlife. After seeing a lot of the sea turtles and dolphins that had to be saved and have surgery due to us humans, I would most definately do a nude findraiser of any kind, be it calendars or anything else. After seeing that last week, it just broke my heart. BTW, I will post a trip report in a later post. I did not, however, get to spend any nude time while in Florida. But now that I was there, I am ready to go nude scubadiving with the dolphins.

Melissa depends on what is in it for the ACLU, they are usually as left as you can get. I do not think discrimination covers nudity, just race, age, sex, national origin, gays, and religion. I think if the school board thought that it might morally effect the kids they might have a case. Not always because something is for a good cause does it make it legal. Look at it this way, supose a hooker said she would donate half her proceeds to chairity, would that make what she was doing legal? Just playing the devil's advocate.
