As to native Anericans; no I didn't expect war paint or mocassins, and I certainly did not mean to insult anyone. (I suspect the execs you saw at the casinos where hired by the tribal authorities - not aboriginal Americans themselves.) Nevertheless I repeat my apology - the NONE in my original post was incorrect and I regret this error and the resulting offense it may have caused. Maybe NudeDoc could weigh in since the "common denominator" he refered to may have been age or someother demographic.
Take it easy on yourself, I can't image your post offended anyone. My only point on the Native Americans is I honestly don't know how one would identify a Native American in a picture of a group of people unless a stereotype called out their identity. (By the way - I prefer the term aboriginal as well like our friends up in Canada use)
Since I'm obviously bored this Sunday here goes:
Page 10 - Yellow shirt, top right corner Page 12 - Red Shirt, bottom right corner Page 18 - Really? Asian women aren't considered non-whites? Page 36 - Two guys walking, but it's a judgement call
It will be interesting to see if the media raises the same issue and the website pictures get updated as we get closer to the elections.
Cheers!

2002? Hey, youngster, where were you in 1992? We seem to be in a cycle to rival 'groundhog day', with the lefties promising their kind of redistributionist utopia and the righties pointing out that economic freedom works better...

I see the point. But you often can't tell. For example I personally am part Paumunkey, an old Virginia and Maryland tribe.
As far as the substance of bailouts: My favorite is that Amtrak was designed to become self-funding and take no more Federal cash after 1974. 36 years later, and they're not close to it, or even trying to get there. I hope the same is not true of the Auto Bailout and others.

He's trying to help those less fortunate and all the "haves" are turning their backs on the "have nots."
It's amazing how those on both sides will resort to calling names, insinuating lies and forget what it was like when "their" guy was in office and the mess "HE" got us into.
YOU really think this war is necessary??? Do you honestly think that those people want democracy??? Once we're gone...they'll go back to doing what "they" want to do and not what we want. And...where are those WMD'S???
This is why I don't like getting involved in political discussions...they're useless. I'll continue to feel the way I do and so will you so...what changed. WE all lost precious heart beats, time with loved ones and time in the sun...which is where many need to be!

Look: the fellow who is currently president of the united states is a dishonest lout. There is no way political discussions can be carried out that does not recognize this simple fact. Maybe this discussion does not belong on this kind of board, but please do not try to defend POTUS here.

This thread is beginning to illustrate the truth of Godwin's Law, which holds that the longer any Internet discussion goes on, the probability that someone will make a comparison to the Nazis or Hitler will approach 1.

Since JiminBoston repeated the mistaken assertion, let me post the correction again. I did not call Obama sleazy. My point had been that Obamacare's congrsssional deals were sleazy. With popular terms like the "Louisiana Purchase," the "Cornhusker Kickback," and several others, This truth should be a no-brainer.

You might find the discussion goes a bit more smoothly when keeping in mind the original subject... the Tea Party Ten Point Platform.
Allowing yourselves to stray so badly from the topic is sure to activate Godwin's Law, which I just heard about for the first time. Funny but true, isn't it.
I wonder if the Tea Party Movement has a comparable document illustrating more photos of people of color. It was indeed strange trying to look for them in the "Pledge To America".

Maybe we need a Witch, or at least someone who can magically make Congress focus on taking better care of the Nation's needs. Tho I don't live in Delaware, the idea might be worth a try.

Medical care is available to anyone in the USA be they citizen or non-citizen, poor or rich, resident or non-resident, criminals like some of our politicians, illegal aliens, etc.
The real issue here is paying for health care.
Happy Nuding.

One might hope for a health care plan that is CONSTITUTIONAL to start with. The individual mandate fails that test badly. Any decent system needs to be voluntary for all concerned. If a hospital, an insurance group, a doctor, a therapist, a dentist, etc do not wish to join, they should not be forced to. This is not a DICTATORSHIP. The Tea Party movement owes a huge part of its impetus to Obamacare's lack of respect for both the citizens and health care professionals. The medical professionals who ran in the prmaries number in hundreds, with quite a few winning state and federal nominations. Very unusual, according to Newsweek. We'll have a better answer in three weeks, now.

Yea. But nobody has suggested that my characterization of you-know-who is wrong... And I am indeed open minded. Just don't like the fellow.

We must be very careful with this throw the bums out and start over attitude! We did that in my small town last election cycle, dismissed the mayor and 5 of the 6 aldermen! The remaining alderman had only 2 years in office. What a mess, nothing is being done, projects that have been in the works for years are stoped. A military aircraft on loan fron the Navy and in need of restoration may have to be shipped back to Fla. at a cost of$100,ooo or more! The restoration was scedualed to start in a matter of weeks but the new board diddn't like the park it was going to, there was no cost to the city, it was all volunteer labor and donations, the funda were all in place! The latest chapter of this saga is public restrooms in our 300 yr old downtown, again funds are in place at no cost to the city and the board wants to take us back to where we started 5 years ago on placement. WHAT A MESS I could go on for hours about the free for all that iis our alderman meetings but I'm afraid I will get sick
