Wife and I are attending our first "Bare As You Dare" dance at a nearby resort in June. Not really sure what to wear...or not wear at such an event. Not so much a problem for wifey, but could be for me. Has anyone been to one of these, and can offer some insight?

Though we have not attended one of these events, we've seen pics from our club's event and have friends that have attended events like this.

Most of the time, sheer or mesh clothing for the women is the outfit of the evening. Most times the guys are either nude or wearing a sheer pareo/sarong or sheer boxers.

What we've heard is that ... as the night goes on, and the room heats up from bodies dancing, the minimal clothing comes off and most are naked anyway. So...if you decide to just GO BARE as daring enough ... you'll probably be ahead of the game by the end of the night!

Have a good time.

Just wanted to add; We have attended several dances at nude resorts and dance fast and slow with each other and even with close friends. I usually start out with a short pareo/sarong but by the first couple of fast dances ... it continues to slip off and I just take it off. Besides ... I wear it mostly to have something to sit on without having to carry a heavy towel.

Loves being naked. Plays well with others!

Have not been to a dance with my wife yet, but we will sometime. I guess that both of us prefer slow dancing, but that is not always "approved of", so most, I guess, are fast dances(slow with contact could create a problem for a male?). I suppose that it depends on the club or resort, or people at the dance. Photos I've seen are a mix of nude and partly clothed. Some could be conscious of too much "jiggle" in their (our) steps! Guess we will get over that as we did with first being nude. Some clubs, I have been told, do not allow, or frown upon, dancing with someone else's partner or spouse. Someday we will join all the rest of you on the dance floor...maybe this summer!?

loving life as naked as possible!

It's "Bare as You Dare," right? So go bare!
