Whenever I'm on sand, I'm barefooted. I can't resist. :)

hot sand is nasty. like walking along the tide line where the sun is nice and cool. also like the first few minutes after my feet are liberated from shoes. and the feel of your bare feet in a garden while you are watering and maintaining is also great.

Gardens are great. There's a public garden park close to where I live. I like to walk slowly and look at all the plants. In springtime the fragrance is mystical. They have dirt trails in a little forest-like area and cement walks with lots of plants on either side and a water fountain. I like to walk there after it rains. I'm the only one there who goes barefooted.

Papabare there is a time and place for everything, and sex at the clothing optioal beach or driving in the car is not one of them.

I quite Agree Kim. I made sure my little ones were looking at the interesting dog out the other window and hurridly zoomed away from the 'interesting' car.
Sex is a great thing, to be shared by consenting adults in the privacy of somewhere other then where non-consenting adults or children will be.

I am usually in flip flops or barefoot around the house and yard. I usually wear sneakers or comfortable shoes, like I just did, when running errands. In the summer, we are usually in flip flops almost all the time. My wife has tender feet because she rarely goes barefoot, except for inside the house. She does go barefoot at the beach and once in awhile at the resorts, but usually has flip flops on.
I love being barefoot but it does take its toll on them during the summer. Just takes a little extra time and extra care to keep them up.

It's a sorry state of affairs that our police officers would go through that much trouble just to see a woman topless.

When I was a kid you couldnt keep shoes (Or for that matter clothes) on me. I would run around barefoot yearround. I admit when I got older running on hot blacktop in 102 degree temps was MAJOR painful, but I never noticed when I was a kid (Maybe it has to do with weight. When your 40 pounds running barefoot on hot blacktop is OK cause your not pressing on it as much when your 140 pounds)

Paul DS the police didn't pull her over to see her topless, they pulled her over to give her a ticket for driving topless.

They pulled her over to see her topless. They are as bad as the truckers.

they are worse than the truckers. at least they get to go home to their family at the end of the day. and their livelihood doesnt depend on doing things on the clock. truckers need this amusement for their sanity and to relieve the boredom. policemen do it to bust chops, or try to get a date.

My ex has never gotten a ticket, though she has been pulled over Many times. Usually they would do the 'Man, you know how fast you were going' 'Well gee officer I dont know' 'Well we will let it slip this time, just don't do it again. Can you please write your name, address, adn phone number on this piece of paper?' routine. Helps that she was a blonde and not too bad looking. She was suprised when I got one (First time I had been pulled over too). I told her it doesnt work for men

I've heard you can get in trouble if the police pull you over and discover you were driving in bare feet. Has anyone else heard this, or am I perpetuating some urban myth? (This could be important. I've been a "bare-foot lead-foot" in the past!)

Nope, its true, atleast in the state of california. And I am pretty sure in AZ. Kinda silly, I drive barefoot cause (like someone else posted) I drive by feel. Mostly what brakes and accelerates is my big toe.
