Welcome to the forum Ksmickero. I go barefoot in the house most of the time, unless it is cold like it is now and I wear my little bunny slippers. I enjoy going barefoot in the yard love to feel the grass under my feel. I wear shoes when hiking and bicycle riding. I agree a lot of the shoes are uncomfotable, like womens heels, but they look so good on the feet.

Yes nice and furry inside and so soft and warm. They have the ears, eyes and little noses. I know it looks silly on a grown woman, but when I am nude in the house, who looks at my fee?

Kim if you think about it if you didn't do every thing people think is silly or stpid you probably wouldn't be a nudist.

Kim, I had a pair of bunny slippers until this past Dec. when they were discarded. I do have a pair of gray kitten slippers that your foot goes into the tummy of the animal. :)
Hugs, Cheri

Several years ago I attended a course involving joint mobilizations of the foot and ankle. The final workshop involved us providing massage and gentle joint mobs...My goodness! There were a lot of people clicking their heels afterward! Conversely, in the past I was contracted to work with a ballet company. Those poor ballerina's feet were completely messed up. If someone has a foot fetish and would rather not have it for whatever reason, I would suggest they hang with a ballet company.

I wish I had some kind of furry shoes alhtough I wouldn't want them to resemble animals mainly due to the fact that really isn't me. crud i was going to say another thing i just can't think of it right now.

My toe nails are discolored due to fungus. That is why no shoes no service. When you get fungus under your nail, it's hard to get rid of. Also for some reason If I wear sandals without socks my feet start to hurt to where I can't walk.

If it were summertime, just reading this thread would have been enough to make me take off my shoes (and my clothes were I not in a public computer lab) right now. This has been a great read.
I remember one time when I rode a roller coaster barefoot. It was one of those rides where the cars are suspended from a track above, leaving your feet dangling free. My friends were puzzled and reminded me that the idea was only for people with sandals to remove their footwear, but I wanted to give it a shot. After walking all over the park and standing in line for quite some time, feeling the wind rush across my feet at 60+ miles an hour felt exhilirating and further enhanced the excitement of the ride, which in and of itself was a blast. The next time I went on that ride a few weeks later, I did the very same thing and loved it just the same as the first time.
Veteran barefooters, do your feet eventually reach the point where you can walk on cement or concrete without getting sore feet or blisters? And speaking of blisters, did your feet go through a stage of blisters when you first exposed them? Around town, do you usually cover your feet, or do you just avoid dirty sidewalks and streets?
I just thought of something...this could be a great way to convince a textile to become a naturist. Just imagine the conversation after the barefoot walk:
Naturist: So, did you enjoy going barefoot? Textile: Absolutely! That felt SO refreshing? N: Really? What did you like about it? T: All sorts of things. I wasn't walking around in clunky shoes; my feet felt so much lighter. There's a saying that one pound on your feet is like five pounds on your back, and believe me, now I know what they're talking about. And I just loved the way the grass hugged my little toes; that felt so good. But the best, the hands-down most pleasureable experience was walking through the mud. I just loved that! It felt so cool and refreshing. It was like getting a foot massage as I walked No worries about getting my shoes all muddy; I just plowed right through the mud without a care in the world. N: So you thouroughly enjoyed it. T: Absolutely. I'd love to do it again. N: May I ask you a question? T: Sure. N: Ever wondered what kind of pleasure you would get out of doing this all over? T: Um, you don't mean to say.... N: Going nude? Yes I do. [cue discussion about naturism]

Good point you have there tollboth about the bare feet nudist discussion. As far as your feet getting use to the cement and gravel. mine do by the end of summer. After nine months of winter the soles of my feet are soft again. I do not think I will ever get used to walking on hot pavement.

toll booth, I always wear shoes when walking on pavement especially in the summer. I'm allergic to pain. :) During the cooler months in So. Carolina, I do go outdoors w/o shoes walking on the stepping stones taking the trash out (behind our privacy fence). The one thing I have enjoyed about New England in summer is the ability to enjoy walking on grass w/o fire ants. :) Cheri

Luckily we don't have fire ants here. We were exposed to them for the first time at a nudist resort in Florida. Have you ever tried to keep two young boys from playing with fire ants? Even after they had been bitten, they were still knocking over mounds.

I'm barefooted whenever possible, even in the winter around the house if not to cold.
Kim, I'll wear socks when it's cold, no bunny slippers.
