You're not rushing...just trying to get into "fall mode" Cheri! Unfortunately, Labor Day is just a week away! Where did summer go?

I'm still looking for an employer who will move me from northern to southern hemisphere and back, each year, so I can always be in summer. I have mutiple skills; anyone hiring?

I'm looking for an employer who will just move me SOUTH! 40 yrs of northern midwest winters have completely changed my mind about the beauty of winter. It may be purty when it snows, but then it stays...

I know what you mean. On the other hand, I don't like excessive heat either.

The cool weather is closing in on us... looking for winter time people and activities in the Philadelphia area to make social nudism year-round. Moving closer to the equator is a goal but it's not in the cards any time soon.

Sorry to interrupt, but this is officially my 100th post! Who knew I'd have 100 things to say?!

Well, it is begining to feel a lot like fall here in the North West. It got down to 41F last night and never warmed up above 65F here today. Man! I don't miss the 100F weather we had a last week however I wish it could be more like 70-85F normal for this time of year. Well looks like it will warm slightly before Labor Day weekend. I would be lloking forward to fall more if my job search was going better seems to be hard to get on with life when there is no job to look forward to everyday. Man writting resumes sucks and now there is so much competition for the few jobs there are out there. Still stressing but I have been able to get to the VA and line up some medical appointments so not all it bad news. It will be rough for a few months though my pay is about 40% of what it was so I really need to get that J-O-B. Ah well I will think positive and try to have faith as my wife says. I am still very worried for my family as well as the country and the entire world it still feels like we are living in a period right before a crash. I hope we don't end up going through a economic situation like the world did in 1929 but I can not get over this feeling of forboding. I keep having really bad dreams like I am in some sort of Orwellian nightmare. My mind must be working overtime. Well that is enough of my little life for one sitting thanks for listening.

Thanks Cheri for the instructions on the chat room. I just missed the bulk of the chat, but was up and running to catch it for a few minutes. If you need a new career, you could write instructions on how to use programs.
Thanks again, Cheri.

Sorry I missed you. We had some horrific thunder storms last evening. Hopefully next week will be calmer. My husband is having surgery next Tues., not sure if I'll just open the room and leave it open. :) Cheri

Ironically, you don't generally need a teaching degree or certification to teach at the college level. Many colleges and universities, especially community colleges, increasingly rely on adjunct instructors for many courses. Depending on your degree and expertise, that might be an option worth pursuing. Unfortunately, these positions don't pay much... perhaps $500 per credit hour.
