FlCpl, I suspect you're right. Google is well known for targeting ads to Gmail users based on words they find in the text of emails. It wouldn't shock me to learn they were the culprits. But there might be a way to find out.
HomeNudist, Bob Knows, and Landlord, what say you? Are you Gmail users?

Not so fast Doc! Just because it wasn't a blanket spam doesn't mean it wasn't necessarily the nefarious screwgle algorithm. However, it appears the organizer of said event is also affiliated with CFI and/or Clothesfreeforum. Perhaps any affiliation with that site may have initiated the marketing.
Without regard to the suspect emails, more power to them if they can pull off an event like that with even a decent amount of participation. Good Luck!

That might be it. I did sign up at CFI a year or two ago, but I did not stay. It was not a friendly place. It is truly amazing how intolerant the people are who claim to promote tolerance.

Now that I think about it, I believe I may have logged on to CFI several years ago to check out "Nudes in the News", and then bailed when they asked for the credit card number. Very astute, FlCpl!
I still don't get the point of the Expo. For knowledgeable nudist/naturists, it would be preaching to the choir. Maybe they hope to draw in visitors to Las Vegas who are unfamiliar with nudism, but curious about it.

Hi, as you may see, I'm new here, think I finally got the hang of the website. Just sitting here and now in the nude. There is snow outside, anyway what are the penalties for going out in public, nude, just a nude run...? Think n about it, snowy day... business closed...I don't know that's all for me for now. -Zean. p.s. sorry Nudistjr I hven't been to any nude resorts as of yet...

Welcome Zean,
Hard question to answer, because it depends on where you live. In Cap d'Agde it is the norm, but in the Mid East it can bring you all kinds of grief. Here in the US it varies State to State. Not to mention the weather penalties . . . if there is snow outside a nude stroll is not going to be the most comfortable experience.

I did enjoy truenudist.com site for meeting other nudists, but there was both many fake profiles, and you had option to pay if you wanted to post more than like 5 nudes of yourself or view more than 5 nudes of someone else. But like most nudist sites and nudists even if they are local they find a reason not to meet up or talk in person to you.

I used to belong to TN (free2befree) but it started getting a little weird with the photos and friend requests with very little interaction in the groups and forums. Even though there were rules, it seemed like they did not apply to all and it just created a lot of bickering back and forth. This web site is by far the best...for me at least.
