Who is going to take down all the signs for mayor, city council-members, judges, district attorneys, congress-critters, etc., etc?

Nothing else advances freedom like government opposed to itself.

The current unemployment situation in a nutshell: When getting gasoline. Today, you use a computerized swipe card instead of handing cash to a human.

The main long-term result from the election is the huge surge of Republicans in the legislatures and local officials.

the november 2 election said that the american people did not like the socialist agenda of the progessive party and it went as far as the state and local elections. i hope the conservative will have awaken from their last time in office where they were no better. tax cuts, repeal obamacare, jobs, and TERM LIMITS....

Yet, while you have the same Party, you now have a different management team, with different perspectives from the Christ Admin. Similar with the change to Rubio in the Senate, when their were two other, quite different choices for the people in this vote.

Seems like we're doing quite well relative to the rest of the country. You must have a very low threshold of what it takes to get classified in the S*** Can! Could things be better, of course they could, but all states are suffering. And our current governor is not a republican, nor is our current CFO.

Rubbish. Crist is a gop he just left 'cause he knew he couldnt win against rubio and you know it. Sink doesnt have anywhgere near the power tthat you imply. Foreclosures in the top 2, unemployment, in the top 3. Come on. The republicans would vote for a dog if it had a gop sticker on it

I just spent 45 minutes going over the figures in FlCpl4NewdFun's posted reference. Such economic figures would be the envy of any other state. Wow! California needs to study how it should copy the more solid economics of Texas and Florida

I to have seen this a lot And i aint talking about all mexicans , blacks or anyone else though mexicans are the worst . but there are mexicans that do pay their taxes , live with their own family , work hard , and drive the so called jaloppy of a vehicle . I am not talking about them . But i have noticed over the years that they will buy the name brand food items on foodstamps then turn around and pull from their pockets a rubber band wrapped wad of cash of $50 bills that you couldent wrap your fingers around and pay for what few items they cant get with foodstamps . then at times when i carried their groceries out for them they will get in a brand new vehicle . I know i might catch some flac over this so please keep in mind that im not talking about all mexicans . I do have some mexican friends and they are not the rule here .

i am just getting tired of the entitlement we have going on in America nancy pelosi recently bragged how great entitlements were for the economy, she forgot how bad it is for the national debt. my favorite one on tv in georgia is if your on food stamps or public assistance call us for your free government sponsored cellphone which includes 200 free minutes a month. years ago the government had a program to provide a house phone that could dial 911 in a emergency. or the electric wheel chairs, get- an- go's,lady on tv says i paid nothing for it , yeah you idiot that $16,000. electric scooter cost us taxpayers hope you enjoy the ride. when will it end. oh probably now since we are broke.

hernandocpl,
The way I look at it if they can't make the house payment they shouldn't have a house. Same thing with the new car, if they can't eat and make the new car payment they shouldn't have a new car. Everyone is not entitled just because others have these things.

And if they bring their uninsured daughter to my E.R. with appendicitis, well, I guess that's just too bad. If you can't afford an appendectomy, don't get appendicitis. Simple.

Meanwhile, I'd wager that a substantial proportion of the more active posters here rely on heavily subsidized "Government-run" Medicare. I wonder how many of them could come up with the $45,000 for a knee replacement.
