Oh .... but I LOVE greasy hamburgers!!!. Every time we have visited him at the C.I.A., we have eaten at a different resturant. Eating there is an experience. We also love NYC. Great deli's, resturants, and coffee shops. We try to visit the city once a year, and twice if we are lucky. We won't actually go into the city on this trip. We will be staying in Rhinebeck at the Beekman Arms. We hope to visit the city in October or November. Our son is a graduate of Purdue and now the Culinary. It sure is time for him to start EARNING some money. And yes, everytime he comes home for a visit, our home smells soooooo gooood. He's always fixing something. I've learned to enjoy food that I never thought I would.

Today was my kind of day. First, I attended the high school wrestling regional, then my wife and I attended a college basketball game. At each event I had one of my favorite meals .... a hotdog, a bag of popcorn, and a Pepsi. Ain't life good!!!!! Hiking 16 miles tomorrow to work off those hotdogs, popcorn, and Pepsi's.

NYC is a great city. You can find any type of food there. Cheri you are right NYC style pizza is really good. The Italian and steak restaurants are super too.

Mine is my face. Tried to upload and use a nude photo of myself this morning now that I've lost nearly 10 lb. But when I went to the forum and saw my avatar, it got compressed making me look bigger than I was before I lost weight. So I went back to my head shot.

Dave, I think your headshot looks a lot better than the full body shot.

It shows me and my lifestyle. I love to stay nude in the summer, alone or with friends. Stay nude

[Image deleted - please DO NOT post pics with your genitals more prominent than your face. Ppnswede, this is your final warning, as this is the second time I have had to edit your photos. Please think twice before posting pics here again. A picture of a nude man bending over a lawnmower from behind is not in good taste for this forum. Admin]

The first avator I picked fit me best, because some people call me 'the professor', but that got old so I pick the one you see here now, only because I think it looks cool, I never did recreational drugs, never will. They do make rope and many food additives from that same plant you know! LOL

Actually, if I understand things correctly, Industrial Hemp is what many of the food, clothes, paper and rope are made of. I think it is a close relative to the illegal (at least here in the US) variety but does not contain THC.
If you do a Google search on Industrial Hemp, there is quite a bit of information. I remember a few years ago Woody Harrelson wanted to plant a rather large crop in North Eastern Colorado.
According to some of the information I have watched on the History (or A&E, Discovery or TLC) Channel, it was outlawed in the 1930's because of (implied) lobbying by the cotton and forrest industries.

This is Tux. He is the mascot for the Linux operating system. I use Linux almost exclusively on my main computer and still use Windows at work and on other computers.
Linux is an alternative to Windows. It has been around as long as Windows. It is entirely open source and free. Almost all of the programs are free too.
I chose Tux as my avatar because I like being different. We can be thankful for differences. We should celebrate each person's individuality!
