Hi, I see that you are from Victoria, B.C. On Yahoo Groups Canadian Naturist forum a woman from Toronto has moved to Victoria and was looking for a nudist group to join. If you are active in Yahoo, perhaps you could contact her or maybe you can let me know who to contact in Victoria and I can relay it.
It seems that you are very involved here. It's a great site. I am also on NetNude.com and NudeCanadian.com.
BTW, I don't look like Tux. He is cuter.

Hi, BR I still use Windows quite a bit. I have a love/ hate relationship with it. Linux is fairly new to me. I find it stable (it never crashes). I have no security problems and don't even need a virus checker. It uses fewer resources than Windows and can run on older machines quite well. It looks great (KDE) and was easier to install than Windows XP Pro.
I am using Mandrake 9.2. It gets top marks for ease of use. There still is a bit of a learning curve, but that's fun!
This is a shameless plug for a free product.

The only bad thing about Linux is the fact that you can't play games on it. Unless you eather a download a program that will let you do so or get a linux version of such game unfortunatly most company's don't even port them over to mac let alone linux. Oh and it's really hard to load programs. Most computer illiterate people would probably shoot their computer five minutes after installing linux. Other than what you said there are few pluses it took me two weeks of just trying to figure the thing out before I moved back to windows if I could have gotten fallout to run maybe I would still have it but hey I don't. Truth be known I'll probably get two comps the next time I upgrade. One for windows and a slitly less expensive one for linux see if I can't become a hacker. FYI the good type the one who looks at something and tries to figure it out and not the kind that looks at an object and tries to see how many viruses and Trojan horses they can put on it.

I don't want to get this topic off track (avatars) so I will keep it short.
You are right about games. Keep Windows for that. Dual boot is an option. I have two partitons one with Linux and one with Windows XP.
In the last year, Linux has made really big inroads in usability. I use Mandrake 9.2. It is a piece of cake to install. It installs in a fraction of the time of XP and installs all devices without a flaw. It is complete with most of the applications that you would want. It comes with an nice feature to install programs from rpms. It still falls short of Windows but the gap is closing. I understand that both Lycoris and Lindows are even better at it.
That's as short as I can get.

your right nudebynature don't want to get off topic too much so I'll just say this I was using red hat at the time. It does see the things you are using it does come with many applications for free Like openoffice the only probablem with it is no grammer capabilities to my knowledge. I might have staid and played around with it more but i wa getting sick of not playing games so i went back. FYI red hat had a problem with my mp3 player had to uhh i'll just say map it.

Cinderela, I didn't get to see your earlier avatar so I have no idea what the fuss is about. However, let me compliment your latest effort. Artistic, yes... and quite gorgeous too. That's one lucky cousin you have there.
