hello everybody.
I enjoyed all those stories about your avatar picture...
Mine is a pic of me at one of my favorite rocky nude beaches in Greece.
The pic is taken by a girl friend of mine who is also a nudist.

Since my April 2007 posting in this forum, I have become comfortable seeing my naked body on this website. Granted there was some initial apprehension, especially since my social nudity experiences have been very limited.
Having learned recently that a member can have more than one avatar, and change or rotate them as often as desired, I submitted a few more photos. Some depict a winter setting, namely our hot tub nestled in snow-covered rocks. It is used daily, year-round (no, the snow is truly seasonal).
The others are from a remote nudist resort in early summer. Beautiful sand dunes on the ocean form the backdrop. One of the most amazing nude experiences I have ever had.
As my avatar photos suggest, I enjoy being naked outdoors. A nature nudist foremost........

I have become more and more comfortable posting my picture as time has gone on. This is a nudist site and if outsiders recognise me so what. They must have some interest in nudism to have been on the site to begin with. It shows that I am happy with my body and am free of clothing.

well, since I don't have any nude pictures of myself----and wouldn't be 100% ready to post one on the net just yet even if I did---I wanted to pick an avatar that hadn't been overly used much by anyone else (to avoid confusion)---and I found this one sort of humorous and relevant---I tend to be active/on the move a lot, and I also (sadly) work way too much---so a businessman on the go seemed to fit me. Over time, as I get braver, I will probably post a personal photo of myself.

My avatar photo was deliberatly taken (by Mrs McNigel) so as not to be too 'in-your-face' about nudism.
The idea is that in the right context anybody could see it and they might think what a lovely beach, being naked there looks natural. Then maybe they might understand, just a bit.

Took me a while to find this old thread and POST. As you can see I'm no longer a couch potato. Although I still surf the web from my Lazyboy (nude of course). The picture is me standing just outside the fence of the White House, Washington,DC on June 7,2008. I rode in the World Nakid Bike Ride. If you click on the link below my signature you will see that wasn't compleatly nude. While I don't have a problem being nude OR being seen & photographed nude, I would rather not risk arrest. The youtube link will give you a better idea of the event.

My avatar is quite a few years old, I think it was taken by a friend on a naturist hike when I was at univercity.
I wish I still had muscles like that, but i haven't worked out for years! ;)

Old post but I saw some other comments recently on another thread about avatars so I thought I would try and bring this one back to life. My avatar says that I need a new camera. I was wondering why my wife had a spot light on the floor when I was coming out of the bedroom. Our camera no longer has a flash, so it can only be used outdoors where it is bright. Will update with a better picture when we get a new camera...or wait until I can have her take a picture of me outside...when it gets warmer.

It's always fun to revive old threads.
My constantly changing avatar reveals that there are times when I want to let everyone see who I am, and times when I wonder if that is unwise. Over the years I have been on the internet, I have tended to err toward openness. I have put pics of myself in my various profiles (Yahoo, AOL in the early days, etc.) only to notice that many others do not do this. It's still an issue that I wrestle with.
Presently I'm in a "stealth mode". But if the pattern holds, that will likely change in a week or so. I'm such a girl!

There are pictures of me...clothed and nude on the internet...on naturist sites but...I am selective about where I post them.
It's not that I'm afraid of who might see them. Co-workers all knew, the most important people in my life....kids, in law kids and grandkids all know.
I'm selective, I guess, on who I share them with. I guess a "head shot" isn't too much to ask!

So I think mine says a couple things:
1. I don't have any naked pictures of me at a beach or someplace fun
2. While I love being nude with friends, I am not 100% sure about being nude on the internet

I am quite impressed with the recent batch of Avatars (although I don't understand the term nor have I seen the movie). My post from above still holds.
