Hi everybody and big namaashkaar to all of you. I am from Calcutta, India and recently have come to the New York City for a deputation of one year. I had been interested in nudism for quite a time but in india it was not possible to take part in any active naturist activity since this is regarded as a taboo. Now I look forward this one year period as an excellent time for taking a dig into nudism and meet nudist freinds. But as I am new to USA I do not anybody out here. Nor do I have any info on the clibs/resorts where I can go. I am staying in Jersey City in New Jersy.
I would like to meet people in Jersey City/New Jersy/New York city and give a start to my long cherished dream of active naturism.
Masti, Welcome to the US. There is Rock Lodge in the Stockholm, NJ area. You are also not that far from Gunnison Beach (Sandy Hook). TriState Nudist club is also in your area. That is a nonlanded club.
If you want to visit any of the clubs in the US, you will get a 20% discount with an AANR membership card (www.aanr.com) or possibly a TNS card (www.naturist.com). I can also facilitate membership through my club Travelites that does have members in your area.
thanks a lot Cheri, I remember having contacted you a long time back from Calcutta, India. But here is problem I am facing...I have just come to the US and do not have a car with me. Neither I know driving. (It may seem strange to you, but out there in India not many people have cars and know driving). So most of the clubs which I found using the web resources like the Juniperwoods are pretty far away and do not have public transport system. Do you know any place in NY/NJ area which has access by public transport ?? I am more interested in landed nudist clubs for my debut.
I have trying from almost the day I landed in the US to get into a naturist club but I could not find any till date which I may access owing to my handicap of not having a car...
