Hi everyone. I'm brand new to this forum, or to any nudist forum for that matter.
After having researched and analyzed this topic for the past 6 years, I really would like to dive into this discussion board head-first (and unabashedly naked, of course). I really want to talk to an open-minded group about social nudity -- the good, the bad, and the ugly. (Let's face it. There are pedophile lurkers both on the beach and on the net.)
I know that some would disagree with me, but I kind of place one's comfort level with social nudity on a wide spectrum, from the innocuous yet still controversial subject of breastfeeding in public to the ease some have of displaying their sexual nature in front of others. (After all, it's only natural, right?) I would venture to say that most people on this board fall somewhere in between.
So this is Nude-ology 101. Anything analyzing the motivations and consequences of social nudity goes. This topic is meant as academic. "I do it just because" fits under other headings.
My interest in the subject is one of both observer and occasional participant. I love the concept of being so secure in your body habitus you are willing to shed all in front of others. Also, one of life's great pleasures for me is body-surfing nude in the cool waters off Black's Beach.
So, to start things off, Why do you do it?
