Thanks! Don't know how long it will be before that particular nude ambition is realized, but we'd both love to go.

My nude ambition would be to take a motorcycle ride in the nude. Two sensations of freedom in one!

About an hour with traffic Now some people I know in other states have to drive that normally, but I LIKE the ability right now to get home, with traffic, in 15 min. Also, what about all those people who Aren't nudists who want to just come over cause your friends/family/etc? And I have heard from peopel who Have lived in resorts and have commuted that they never went to the pool or enjoyed the place because it was now 'Home', not an escape. And I would HATE to lose my escape!

Motorcycle ride in the nude? You wouldn't want to be going too fast... I'd hate to imagine what would happen if you had an accident... OUCH!

I think getting hit by the bugs while riding a motorcycle nude would be bad enough!

I would enjoy hiking for a couple of weeks in the nude. Someplace like the Grand Canyon or up in the Rocky Mountains.

I like this idea a lot too, but I've ridden motorcycles since 1986, and I'm way to concerned about road rash and flying bugs and rocks to try this. Maybe if you just rode across a soft grassy field at low speed? (I still like this idea.)

the only thing you have to worry about in grassy fields is the occasional holes, ruts and cow paddies.
brambles and sawgrass also are not good, unless the field has been mowed.

My grandfather had a lot of pasture on his farm. That would have been a fine place for nude motorcycle riding. But then, he didn't like motorcycles and as far as I know never dabbled in nude recreation.

I would like to do that too IrishRed, go hiking someplace like that for several days. We have hiked nude at Pacific Rim National Park, its not legal but you just have to keep an eye out for other hikers.

Kim, I think it would be really cool to be out in a "natural setting" and be "naturally" (nude) attired.

There are a lot of homes there, as in a lot of other naturist resorts.
Actually I am lookin @ a house that is right down the road (right down the private road, maybe 5 minutes walk or 1 minutes bike ride) from the main gate. Living Inside would be better cause I wouldnt have to get dressed to get to the pool, but living right down the street would be good because I can have friends or family over that wouldnt like the idea of being in a nudist resort.

a lot of the built-up resorts (the ones considered modern) have cottages and even homes for sale. in co-ops, you own the house but not the land. i suspect it is that way in most places.
and the folks who live there full time, even in winter in cold places is growing

I love the idea of living in a nude resort too, but my main concern is for our kids. By that I mean I'm worried they would be subjected to all kinds of cruelty by other kids if the word ever got out that they lived as nudists. Kids can be extraordinarily mean to other kids that are, for lack of a better word, different. In late 2002 my wife and I spent a long weekend in a resort in the Florida panhandle named Sunburst, and one of the staffers was telling us that her grandchildren experienced that very kind of persecution while they lived in the resort.
The best solution seems to be living within easy distance of a nude resort or beach if you possibly can, and then you can inhabit "both worlds," so to speak. Plus the nude resort continues to be an escape for you to enjoy, as Papabare put it.
