My ambition would be, being nude and not having to worry about it. That is, no one finds nudity offensive or against the law.

My ultimate nude ambition would be to convince 400,000 politically active nudists to move to Wyoming. As soon as we get 400,000 avowed Nudists registered to vote in Wyoming, we circulate a petition to put a Constitutional ammendment on the State's General Election ballot. The ammendment would state that every man woman and child has the natural right to be naked in Public recreation areas which allow for camping, hiking, swimming fishing etc...)

Once the ammendment is voted into law all 49 other states would have to give citizens the same rights under the full faith and credit clause of the US Constitution.

And how do we know it would pass? The entire population of Wyoming based on the 2000 Census is 494,000 of which 25% are below voting age that gets us to 375,000. With 400,000 Nude Party members we would be the majority of the Wyoming population.

Realistic, Of course not, but if we all really wanted to we could do it.

I saw we try Delaware instead. They have like 20 people living there :D (OK I know more then that, but a state we can drive across in 2 hours is easier to fill :)

I like it Chic......but you're thinking with toooo much common sense. Something our laws makers rarely have much of when it comes to laws concerning simple nudity.

Only one question: why limit to Public Recreation land? Why not be like some European countries where nudity is legal anywhere unless the legal occupier objects?

The limitation allows a homeowner or a tenant (but not their landlord!), business owner, church or judge in a courtroom to set dress codes for their domain (applying trespass laws) without generally limiting people's rights.

Cheers!

Kim & FireProf,

Appreciate the feedback. Also, We know law makers would never support us nudists in this puritan society.

Chic our society is not necessarily Puritan, and their other factors involved.

I used to think our society is Puritan too, but I think it's gotten beyond that into a sometimes bizarre zone where we are overreacting to our Puritan history and going a bit too much over-the-top in the other direction (examples that come to mind are Britney & Madonna locking lips and Justin Timberlake & Janet Jackson's half-time show). I'm not offended by these things, and only sometimes annoyed, but sex is being pushed so much into everybody's face nowadays. Nothing is left to the imagination anymore, and "decency" seems like an obsolete concept in the entertainment industry. (Imagine that, a nudist advocating decency. But I see no contradiction in that, do you guys??) So in this respect I would call our society "Adolescent." We're growing up, but we still have a ways to go.

Well, enough with the commentary. I think Revilo42, papabare, and oracle have all got the right idea! Such a move would open the door to all kinds of nude ambitions!

My ambitions are like most of your postings, with an addition being able to just to walk across the street to get my mail and paper nude and to go to any public pool and swim nude. I would add spelunking nude to the list. Caves are a constant temperature and the water is clean and clear. Living on a tropical island nude (without the sand fleas) but not a "Survivor" type island. Maybe if I won a big lottery I would buy an island like Marlon Brando did.

Kim,

I know, I guess I was taking the easy way out.

It is us who have to spread the word that nudism/nude is not evil.

I'm frustrated that the very same people who admire the great marble statue of the nude David, condem us who live as he is depicted.

Chic,

I just roll on the floor laughing when I see people trying to Cover them up :) Then I cry. Then I want to go and chisle off all the clothes on all the clothed statues I think Lady Justice should have Both breasts bare! (Try saying that 10 times fast)

I used to dabble in nudist cartooning. Now THAT would be an awesome job I could do at home (where I set the "undress" code)!
