In 30 years we have never been successful at "recruiting" any family or friends to the nudist lifestyle. We've done great at recruiting perfect strangers by the hundreds but our family and friends say, "Thanks but no thanks." Which is also ok since all we ask for is tolerance from the textile folks anyway.

I would like to start/run a nudist travel club in my area that would work with religious groups and universities as well as the art, science and engineering communities. Eventually, I would like to found one or more nudist communities in my area organized around healthy family nudism and based on low upkeep green technologies and ultra-cleanable housing and common areas.

Wow! StuffedTiger, now that is an ambition. From what I have read, naturism was started in a similar fashion in Northern Europe during the thirties. People getting out of doors, communing with nature, healthy lifestyle and exercise, family oriented nudism.

how about starting small with something like a b&b and expand as you go.
or a small ecologically oriented park where nudity is part of the "communing with nature" ?

Calmnude,
Stating small has some possibility, I like the B&B idea.

There was a woman from Victria tha moved to the mailand, that used to chat here. Here and her husband started a nude B&B. I haven't seen her here in a long time, so I do not know how it worked out.

I'd like to have a health spa like those found in Europe. One facility had many different saunas and steam rooms of varying degrees as well as swimming pools of different temperatures. All of these areas had both indoor and outdoor versions. Soaking tubs were in abundance as well as hot tubs.

Impossible/grandiose/fantasy: Live in a time when anyone can go nude anywhere, anytime.
A little more practical: BUILD a nude city in the U.S. that's "real"- not just a resort. (With the amount of work-at-home computer jobs that exist, this is quite doable.) Hopefully this city would continue to expand- and hopefully educate the public so the the 1st ambition could be fulfilled.

Welcome to the forum tanallover. We went to a hot springs resort like that in Clorado, it was nude, but it did have all the different temperature pools.

Nude hiking is fun. The UK is not liberal about nudity so I am very discreet about it.

In the UK someone is doing nude cinema, the first film was "Calendar Girls". In case you have not heard about it it is about a group of mature women who did a very tasteful nude calendar to raise funds for charity.

Welcome to the forum Tim. What was the outcome of the nude screening of "Calendar Girls"? We heard about all the flap when it first started but never heard how it turned out.
