As a newbie to the Forum, but not the nudist lifestyle, I have a (probably redundant) question.
I am having trouble setting my avatar to one of my own photos. What are the format requirements? Are there restrictions to 'poses'?

I tried and failed many, many times to upload my avatar which meet the requirement of not being larger than 100 x 100 pixels. I sent the avatar to admin@nudist-resorts.org and in time he posted it.

I think if your avatar is very, very expensive, all blue in color, carries a spear and is in 3D, it gets posted very quickly.
Anything that can be done, can be done better while nude.

We moved the website to a faster, more secure server based on a different technology some time ago and lost the avatar upload function.
In the meantime, if you have the patience, just send any photos, avatars, etc. that need to be posted, to me at admin@nudist-resorts.org .
Include your username and clear instructions for which photo is for which purpose. I can post a larger pic for your profile, or an avatar made from it, or use a second photo to make the avatar. If you have a great photo to illustrate your trip report, I'd be happy to upload it to our server and post it within your trip report.
And if you have photos of people enjoying environments naturally in the nude, and they feature the setting more than the nude person, consider contributing to our Main Gallery. The best photos illustrate the great places we go to be nude. At entirely unpredictable times I'll choose the best ones and add a few more to the Main Gallery. Bloggers have said our photo gallery has a 'National Geographic of Nudism' quality to it. That's about what we're going for. Please include a caption. Include photographer's credits where applicable.
Don't worry about the sizes, I'll make the required images out of what you send. Bigger and clearer is always better.
Please have lot of patience. It will get done.

Question about our guidelines for photos.
I'll reprint from our rules page, found at the bottom of each page of this site:
What is allowed in photos
We will not allow to be published or viewed on this website any nude photo where: - The legs are open toward the camera
- The genitals, breasts or buttocks are more prominent than the face
- Attention is drawn to the genital area
- A full or partial erection is visible
- Nudity of minors is featured
- The photo has an erotic or sexually titillating nature as determined by the moderators
Any exceptions (family photos for instance) are at the discretion of the moderators.
The best nudist photos show not just the nudist, but the location and setting of the activity. Everybody has seen a nude body, let's see where you've taken yours!
