I love being nude, I am every chance i get (which isnt many being that i still live with my family), however, I feel as though being nude has lose its excitement. I dont know what it was but when i first started spending my free time free, it made anything new and exciting, cuz i was nude, but lately i feel, for lack of a better term, naked. I get naked and within a couple minutes im dressed again, has anyone ever run into this problem? i still love to be naked but its just become another thing for me.

Nudism (more than just being nude) isn't exciting to me. I just happen to be a nudist as I live my life. It's the same as practicing my religion as I live my life.

Nudism is actually about (as someone said on this site earlier) de-stressing, relaxing, and getting back to innocense. Enjoying the wind, air, water on the body without constricting clothing.

Nudism, if you're into it properly, is not in itself "exciting". The freedom to feel the fresh air and sun all over your body should certainly bring about a level of enjoyment which some might call "excitement". For us, we simply see no need for clothing, except as necessary for most public situations. In our home, we may or may not be nude -- it has nothing to do with "excitement". It's just a way of life.

A few family members and friends are aware of our preference for nudity and have no issue with it. Some may join us being nude, but it makes no difference to us. Much of the nudity around others in our home is simply casual; i.e., coming out of the shower and taking our time getting dressed, if we put on anything at all.

The real excitement for us is when just the two of us are nude around home. Inevitably, there is a bit of touching or a little pat here and there. All of which can lead to, well even more excitement!

Because of the climate that I live in "mich" my wife and I don't get to go to nude beaches or resorts as often as we would like but when we do it is very exciting and relaxing. We wished we lived somewhere warm year round but alas we don't. Probly if we were at a clothing optional place all the time the excitement would wear off.

My wife and I are fortunate enough to live at a nudist resort full time and I agree with what you are saying. We don't find being nude exciting, it is just the way we live. Obviously living in Mi. we are not naked outside this time of year, only in our house and the clubhouse. We actually never thought of being nude as exciting, we just love the freedom and feeling of not wearing clothes except when we leave the resort.

My wife and I are not into camping or going to places near our home because we both work. We are what you would call closet nudists. It could be a problem to us if we were outed. So we are forced to travel to places we will not be seen by people we know.

We certainly sympathize with you, but are reminded of one of those truths about nudism: If you go to a nudist camp and run into a friend or co-worker, you're all in the same place at the same time, so what's the problem? It's easy to say that, but.....

Another way to view the situation is this: Let's say you go to a facility out of state to avoid those who know you. While there, you run into people you know who had the same idea. Now what?

Just food for thought.

This is an interesting concept 4 her I guess. Since I have been one all my life its sometimes hard to put on clothes but when the situation arises yhen yes. Perhaps she is feeling more insecure in anouther part of her life that has effacted her freemdom in some way. New boyfriend, divore, death, something that has turned her inwards and more concerned about others?

Perhaps.... Just a thought

I've been a nudist for 25 years, and for me, nude is the norm. My girlfriend lives full time at a nudist resort and in the summer we're naked 24/7 unless we need to leave the grounds, which is infrequently. When we HAVE to put clothes on, it feels strange, and we can't wait to get back to the resort and get naked again.

I am not nue as much here in winter but that is mainly due to the cold weather. I truely wish I could be nude more in the winterI need a hottub or a sauna. I think if I had that option or a solarium I would be nude all the time I was at home. The club we goto shuts down here in winter though there is another club abotut 70 miles away.

"Wheres the excitement gone..."

Excitement comes from being inspired to do things you have not yet tried. No excitement ever comes from always doing the same things over and over, with no variations.

As the excitement of newly nude fades it is replaced with contentment in being happily nude.

If you are "excited" by everything when nude, you are doing it wrong...

I have to agree that being nude is not exciting. It's really not that much different than wearing clothes.
There is some excitement if your doing something that your not suppose to. Like walking in the woods even if it usually secluded or driving a car. Than excitement comes with hoping not to get caught.

Perhaps exciting was the wrong term, just when I used to get nude i'd get this feeling of freedom, and now i just get nothing. Perhaps if i was nude more often, but oh well, i work with what i have.

Maybe excitement could be realized by everyone having to go to work in the nude. You have to wonder how much adreneline would be pumped the first few minutes of that day!!
