Once one of my college groups attempted to throw a party that was meant to get people to shed everything. I think it might have succeeded if one member wasn't disrobed against his will.
I talked to the poor kid. He would have been fine with it if he hadn't been pantsed in front of a bunch if strangers.

Closest thing I have been to being the only one nude was my friends were locked out of the dorm and needed in. I knew they were ok with me being nude, so I went out, let them in, and went back to my room. only thing I regret was the fact that it was cold by the door

my friends understand that it makes ME feel uncomfortable to be clothed, so most of them strip down whenever they come over to my apartment. while my female friends are fine with being nude, my male friends are fidgety while not in clothes. but to answer your question: i've been the only nude person on a couple occassions and for a very short time, as it was my friends and they took off their clothes, too.

many times. i used to strip down nude at parties. usually it would start off by jumping into the pool naked, or going into a hot tub, then getting out and just staying naked. also, i have some friends that don't care about my nudity, so when they are around, or i'm at their place, i've been naked many times

I've done it quite often. Sometimes it can backfire but often it is the only way to break the ice and get people thinking about the idea at least. I used to do a radio show and on the last day, I got naked in front of 15 guests for a photo that appeared for a long time on the station's website photo page. I'm very open about what I believe in. Not everybody likes it but I am prepared to take the "First bold step" to try and get things changed. Besides, I've also worked as a life model which involves being nude for as many as 20 artists. No big deal for me.

Actually, this is how most of my life has been. Once I moved out of my parents house, everybody I met knew I was a nudist, and the majority of them have been completely accepting of it, although not comfortable being unclothed themselves. Most of them just thought it was funny, while a few of them just accepted it and thought nothing of it. I've probably only had 4 people my entire adult life who have banned me from being nude in front of them, and those people weren't in my life for very long, with the exception of my birth family and Mother-in-law. For me, being nude with other nude people is the daring bit, and so far that's only happened 3 times.

Well I'm usually naked at home and go to nude beaches as much as possible. My girlfriend and I also have a spot that we like to go to at a local lake that is around the corner from the main textile beach. The locals know and accept it as an area used by nudists. So we feel safe there. A couple of years ago I went there alone one day and found a group of three textile middle aged women using the small beach that we have used for years naked. I layed out my blanket just a few yards away from these ladies and sat down feeling kind of ripped of that I would have to keep my shorts on. As I sat there starting to sweat from the heat and not wanting to swim with my shorts on I got the courage to politely ask the ladies if " anyone would be offended if I was naked?". Two of them appeared a little surprised but, one of them spoke up and said no problem and that she realized that it was normal for this part of the lake. That made me feel better but, even after all my years of nude beaches, I still felt a little awkward as I stripped off my shorts in front of these clothed ladies. I went for a swim and layed down on my towel naked. After a few minutes the awkward feeling went away. I spent the entire day naked and the ladies, who stayed dressed in their swimsuits, were quite pleasant. We had some conversation and shared the beach for the rest of the day. I still see them from time to time around town and they say hello like any friends would :)

When I stayed at my aunt house up north during the summer I had slept nude because she has no air conditioning and it was really hot, one morning I woke up as she came out of the closet, she apologized for waking me at which time i relized I was laying on top of the covers exposed. I relized that this probably didn't offend her since she has seen me nude dozens of times since I was a infant.

I'm gonna try that one day. I'll have to clear it with my wife first, she isn't a nudist and would be quite thoroughly shocked if I didn't warn her first, then wait for the opportunity. It's gonna be fun.

Guys and gals, you've got me on this one. Never been the only one in the altogether in a group. Don't think I could do that! Don't mind being nude in front of say 500-1000 people also nude at - -, but I could not handle being the only one nude.
Y'all are some brave folks! Here's to ya!
Peace.

To ROB g:
Great question, Rob! Well! In that case, I'd just have to strip down and buff out ... ASAP! Group pressure, ya know ... !
Peace.

The more i reread a lot of these. I don't know if it's daring or if we are all just being ourselves. If iwas younger I know if given the chance I would do some nude modeling for an art class. Adn as long as the group was with 7 years I may even do it today.

I prefer those "off the beaten path" hot springs to a commercialized nudist park. I'm a "closet nudist," in that for me, it is unnatural to swim or soak with your clothes on. I sunburn easily, and don't care to oil my body with sunblock. I've never been on a hike in the nude; though it might be fun in the right environment. I know of only one location in Colorado where that might be possible. It's high enough in altitude I wouldn't be a mosquito magnet. I know of a couple remote hot springs here, but have yet to visit either one. I'm going to have to do it this summer. Anybody from Colorado interested in remote hot springs, give me a shout. Maybe we can compare notes or go together.
