I like this board but wish we could insert photos of my naked adventure into the posts. I do post on Instagram and MeWe.
Is anyone else on either of those? I am:
Naked_irish_biker on Instagram
Willy McIntyre on MeWe
MeWe is great because you can post any photos you want. Instagram you have to censor any genitalia and female nipples.

I've gotten pictures posted - see my Paya Bay post, for instance - but I had to send the pictures to Admin and have him put them in. The forum software is a bit old and creaky (sorta like the membership!), but it can be done.

I get it and agree it would be fun to be able to post pics easier than submitting to Admin and having him do it but... I think it's one of the reasons this site has remained one of the last true, genuine nudist sites/message boards. So many of the other sites I was on leaned too heavily on the picture aspect and the sites became a feeding ground for the pervy.
I would imagine there would be a cost involved in adding a gallery for members to post various pictures. Not sure if Admin is up for that. I wouldn't mind a small annual dues to pay for it!

I agree FP. Having been on some of these other sites (I have since left them), the pics posted were more porn than true naturist.

I've noticed it happening more and more with sites that have all the bells and whistles to offer members and most of those allow anyone to join. Though those that do not pay for membership have very little access to many pictures, PM's, chat rooms... they still are able to access Public profiles. When they begin to make rude comments on pictures uploaded by members, members then make their profiles private and or take down their pictures and will not post anymore.
Funny that one site, TN, is supposedly for true nudists but it's more about the money and it would seem that they are losing money because the element that has taken over the site is running off the true nudists. I post lots of pictures I find on twitter/tumbler of normal everyday nudism in hopes it will entice others to post their own photos. Too many times I'm told that real nudists will not because of the creeps that are allowed to join that site so there aren't many real nudists posting pics of their nudist lives.
I was a member and moderator of a naturist site that has since suspended it's account and moved the group over to Facebook. It's the only site that the Prof would allow me to post pics of her nude. The difference on that site was that the pictures weren't all nudes. Most everyone that posted pics of their family nudist life, posted clothed as well as nudes. It was a photo album into friends and extended families lives.
That type of environment and situation takes constant screening of potential members, continual moderating and sometimes not being a well liked member or person when you've deleted or disapproved of pictures, comments or applications for membership to a site that was hell bent on keep it real and genuine. Not a money making enterprise but it was the best nudist website I've EVER belonged to.

I think we all agree that providing the ability to post nude pics requires constant moderation.
Some "nudist" sites leaned heavily toward pics of the youngest nudists. All for an admission price, of course.
It took us many years to make some progress toward separating nudism and wife-swapping in the public mind. Having a site with naked pictures of random people on every page could be a large step backwards. Many people seeing such content only see the arousal aspect of it, and ignore the vacationing ideas they represent.
If we were to upgrade to modern forum software, I'm still not sure I'd want to spend considerable time policing photo policy violations. It's possible, but this would have to become a pay site, which would undermine the original intent which was to give real nudists a stronger voice to the largest audience.

By the way, it's great to see you guys, and I really appreciate your feedback and insights.
FireProf, I understand what you mean about "real nudist" photo material. I haven't updated lately, but the Photo Gallery was meant to present only the best of the best, real world nudism. The nudism must be tastefully done, and the setting is of equal importance. Someone mentioned we have the National Geographic of nudism photos. That's quite a compliment.
Now that we're talking about it, what "other forums" are doing well these days?
I'd be very interested in hearing your take on what each one represents.

I get that. However, I am talking about photos of our everyday lives. For example, I went out and shoveled some of my driveway while naked yesterday and have a photo of it that I would share. Those are the kinds of pictures I’m talking about.

I understand. Personal photos that wouldn't rise to inclusion in the Photo Gallery, but just everyday stuff.
The way people behave, if I were to set up a new photo album for individuals, I would again be assailed with requests to open albums for low quality shots.
- A guy laying on his porch with his legs spread wide for you
- A guy pestering me for weeks to post his naked wife's closeup (ex-wife revenge shot?) and you can sort of tell she's on a boat somewhere
- Some old poorly groomed guy in a blurry shot standing in his kitchen nude
- A guy mowing his lawn naked, and bending over to show you his butthole
These are just a few examples that have come across my desk. How would you manage this? A substantial fee? Free-for-all anything goes? Daily management by an unpaid volunteer?
When we had Members Photo Albums years ago, you'd see an occasional quality shot, but most of them were uninspiring and self serving. Adding nothing, they just encouraged the photo pervs.
In some cases I've had individuals demand I remove photos of them posted by their ex. So there is potential liability for lack of legally binding model releases.
I've had to think hard about to what I'm willing to donate my time.

I vote for the status quo - i.e., what Kevin/Admin is now doing. The thoughtful discussions here are far more valuable (to me) than the pictures one can find almost everywhere and anywhere. I find even the avatars more than adequate, whether photo or cartoon.
Time to say again, Thanks Admin for looking after this forum for so long, while so many other sites have waxed and waned (that's a 'full moon' comment, for which someone will seek to pun-ish me no doubt).
