We took that photo at a 'potential' nude beach called Lovers Key, near Fort Myers Beach in southwest Florida. It was funny putting on towels every two minutes when textiles strolled by!
I saw this photo in my creative vision about a year before arranging for models and photographers to meet for the day trip. This stretch of beach has those incredible tree roots as part of its unique flavor. I knew this would be perfect for the photo shoot. The other photos taken that day will be the basis of several t-shirts and other items to be available later this year. That photo pretty much sets the tone for the rest of the website and forum, don't you think? The models did a great job.
Of course, it's copyrighted. Reproducing in any form is a strict No-no. Kevin
When I say 'potential' I mean just that. I really wouldn't go to Lovers Key and expect more than 30 seconds of privacy at a time. There are strollers and shellers walking up and down the entire beach most of the time.
It would be a wonderful location for a nude beach in this area, but the facilities are short of being able to support that. There would have to be some major concessions toward designating a section for clothing optional, not something I see happening real soon. Enjoy your visit, but please don't create a problem for those working along these lines for the future. Lovers Key is not clothing optional.
