How do I get my wife to try nudism? When we were first married she would sleep and walk around the house nude but now that we are empty nesters, she wants nothing to do with it. I have to sneak out to go to a nudist event or camping, any ideas?

My girlfriend and I are doing our taxes and since we bought the house last year, my tax return had turned out to be pretty good. Good enough that we can pay off a few of our debts, as well as our trip to Jamaica in July and our annual trip to Florida in April. I suggested to her that we also need another little getaway for us, just for a couple of days. I recommended a trip to Boston/Salem because I absolutely love that area and she has yet to go there. We are planning something in late spring or early summer. I found a clothing optional B&B that is less than 20 minutes out of Boston and less than 30 from Salem. So hopefully that will be one more place for us to get naked together.
I really love that she’s taking things on complete stride and is comfortable enough in her own skin to go to these places.
There is also some nude yoga classes coming up soon in Toronto and she wants to go. |

Some good news. I found out the resort we are staying at does have a nude beach within walking distance. So while I won’t get to lounge naked by the pool and pool bar, I can at least be naked on the beach. |

At least my girlfriends spirits are still up about it. We were talking about how we can pack it all in one suitcase since I’ll mostly just need shorts to wear. She said “I’m just going to walk around naked”.

Ugh...sorry to hear that man...that sucks.
But yeah sometimes "setbacks" happen.
I've talked about my wife and going to Club O. with her. She had her "ups and downs" with nudity there; but I didn't realize to what degree it affected her. The following year I came into contact with a gentleman who was going to Club O. with his family around the same time we were returning to St. Martin. We had made plans to hang out; and I was really looking forward to meeting them. Plus I thought it would be good for my wife to interact with some friendly nudists.
When we got there she "veto'd" the whole thing.
I was livid. And embarrassed. It didn't completely ruin my vacation; but it certainly put a strain on it.
What that situation taught me is to avoid mixing "special occasion" outings and nudism. Being able to incorporate nudism into a vacation or "special occasion" is nice; but there can be many factors that can prevent it from happening; especially when other people are involved.
So now; if it a nudist outing, nudism is the only expectation. If it is a "special occasion" (for example we are going to Puerto Rico in 2 weeks) then there is no expectation of nudism. That keeps things simple and avoids "complications."

And on top of that, there is a concert at home that very weekend that I would absolutely LOVE to go to that I have to miss for all of this. |

Well, unfortunately my girlfriend’s friend that is getting married in Jamaica changed her mind and is getting married in a different location in Jamaica now. They c/o resorts we wanted to stay at are 2 hours away from where she chose. Now we are stuck at a regular resort. I am absolutely NOT happy about this. Not only am I stuck going to a resort I don’t want to go to, but we had to pay even more than we expected because she waited so long to choose. And on top of that, I don’t even want to go to this wedding because I can’t stand the guy she is marrying. He is one of those super jealous control freaks. He bought her a new cell phone because she used to talk to other men on her old phone. He bought her a new bed because she slept with other guys before they were together on that bed. He put a tracker on her car. And when he gets drunk, he get violent. “Oh but he’s really a good guy” she says. The worst part is, she watched my girlfriend go through a lot of this with her ex husband and now she’s put herself in the same position. |
