Posted - 04/19/2009 : 10:09:50 PM I looked at the nudist lifestyle on the internet and i find it very interesting and great. I want to make my first step into nudism by sleeping nude. Cud i know the first experiences you had when you slept nude for the first time since you would have been used to sleeping with clothes before? Cud i know how u adapted to sleeping nude? I tried sleeping nude but i'm finding it hard since i've been used to sleeping with clothes on, so may i have some tips on how to get a good's night rest by sleeping nude. |

Posted - 06/13/2018 : 02:22:07 AM I started sleeping nude at 10 or 11. growing up in the high desert in California, it would get hot, I just took everything off and chucked it all into my closet. during spring into fall now in Delta Colorado, i wont even cover with a blanket or sheets. more than air is too much for me.

Posted - 04/28/2018 : 5:57:23 PM I can’t remember the last time I wore clothing to bed. Even when I was in the hospital some 30 years ago I took off the silly hospital gown at night.

Nudists are everywhere, but they're hard to identify with their clothes on. |

Posted - 04/26/2018 : 09:13:14 AM For a short period of time, we'd vacation and share a room with textile family or friends. When this happened, we both have "getting into bed sleepwear." The Prof has this lightweight nightgown and I have a pair of short silk boxers. Once in bed and the lights off, if in the same room or once in our bedroom, we would always take them off.
We both always enjoy being nude as much as possible so we decided, no matter what, we would just get our own hotel/motel room. Playing the clothes game, for bed, was just not worth it to us to save a little money. We have and do, however, share a hotel room with one couple that are close friends and nudists.

Where I live, it can be blasted hot late at night in the summer. 85 degrees at 2 AM in the house. The only sensible thing to do is sleep nude on top of your linen. Still, there are those who will sleep under the sheets with their jammies on.
Makes no sense to wear jammies in heat like that. That hot would take nude plus a fan blowing on you.

Jammies = Pajamas. LOL

As with so many words, people like to abbreviate (or use euphemisms) for kids (rather than talking to them using 'real' words - so 'pyjamas' or pajamas' became 'jammies'

Fire,
Last year in Hawaii we didn't have AC and we slept on top of the covers and enjoyed it very much. One evening Angie's sister walked into our bedroom to talk to her. The look on her face was priceless but she didn't freak out and we didn't cover up.
She actually came into our bedroom a couple more times and made very good eye contact the whole time. LOL

Yeah, Hawaii can sure offer those opportunities to sleep naked and uncovered. Our very first visit to Hawaii, the island of Oahu, we stayed at a hotel near the river/channel. We were on the top floor ... somewhere around the 20th or higher! When housekeeping walked by, as we were bringing our luggage into our room, I stopped her and asked ... "why aren't there screen doors on the slider?" She said, "why do you need them?" I replied, "we'd like to sleep with the door open but don't want the bugs flying in." She said, "Sir, you don't have to worry about the bugs, they don't fly up this high!" hahahahahaha ... she was right! We slept naked, as usual, no covers and the sliding door wide open. The balcony was private enough that we both had our breakfast naked out there each morning.

Posted - 03/14/2018 : 08:50:37 AM There have only been a few times where I slept naked and uncovered. Those times were in very warm temps throughout the night ... Hawaii and the Caribbean. Usually, when it's really warm and we don't want the A/C on and just use a ceiling fan to cool us off to sleep, it gets cool enough in the very early mornings to cover with a sheet but in those instances where we didn't cover at all it was still in the high 70's to low 80's with a nice breeze and it felt good to be naked and uncovered and we were able to fall asleep.
One of those times, while in the Caribbean, we fell asleep uncovered and my wife experienced the wrath of sleeping uncovered, near water ... mosquitos had a field day! I have a great pic of her lying naked on the bed, reading a book with an amazing tan and pink calamine lotion spots all over her body! LOL ... one of her least favorite pics I've taken of her!
Sleeping covered by a sheet or bed covers doesn't determine if you're still naked or not. Making that distinction is like saying ... "you're not a nudist when you're dressed," and we ALL have to get dressed sometimes.
We just returned from a awesome trip to Italy. Our long, long flight home was not going to be like the ones going and we popped for upgraded seats. The plane was warm and I wore the wrong clothes for such a long flight (11 hrs). I probably should have popped for the upgraded seats that went completely flat and one where I could discreetly strip to get some sleep! LOL After we got off the plane, I told my wife, I was scoping out those first class seats for future long, long flights so I could get comfortable and get some sleep. She replied chuckling ... "I was doing the same thing!"
