There was a good suggestion for an "off topic" topic, where the Admin won't gripe at you for ignoring the subject!
And so, drum roll please, the moment we have been waiting for has finally arrived! In this thread, and this thread only, it matters not what the subject is, nor if there was a subject in the first place. So, what's new with you?

Posted - 04/14/2009 : 2:03:51 PM Rainy and cold in MI today, but higher temps forecast for end of week...close to 70! Went to Turtle Lake last Saturday...still a few piles of snow on the ground...but it was sunny and just warm enough to tak a little walk and lay out in the sun. When the breeze stopped, it actually got hot! I love it!! |

Posted - 04/11/2009 : 07:21:56 AM Hey dudes. Any one planning to do the Midmar Mile next year? Just in case you don't know what it is, it's the biggest open water race in the world, held at the Midmar Dam in Pietermaritzburg in South Africa. I've just decided to do it and I've got around 11 months to train. Are there any South Africans on Nudist-Resorts planning to do it?

Posted - 03/21/2009 : 3:52:48 PM I've spent the last week renovating a house while the clients were away on holiday. I've ripped out a chimney breast, stripped the old plaster off the walls, re-laid a new ring main, installed new wall lights and switches and re-plastered all the walls.
Today I turned the power back on, checked all the circuits and was replacing the skirting boards when I smelled rubber burning ......... I re-checked the wiring (no faults), ran my hand over the new plaster feeling for heat (couldn't find any). Still a strong smell of burning insulation so I turned the power off and went outside for a smoke to think about it (Panicking 'cos I thought there must be a short circuit and I'd have to rip everything out and start again).
That's when I noticed the farmer in the next field was burning a load of rubbish - including a couple of tractor tyres ! Half an Hour I'd wasted worrying about a house burning to the ground when it was just the smell from a bonfire in the field outside !
I met the bloke responsible in the local pub that evening and told him how close I'd come to a heart attack - he just laughed !
(I could've killed him there and then) ! |

Posted - 03/18/2009 : 5:57:10 PM Oh, Man, you see birds, turtles and nature! Sounds nice, but when I sleep or doodle around the house, I tend to see a Wife and some Furry Feline Friends whose job it is to observe and monitor our existance. They don't wear clothes either. |

Posted - 03/09/2009 : 10:27:49 PM Charles what makes Americans so closed minded about nudity, also it would be interesting to see a study on sexual predators from nudist friendly countries compared to the hundreds of thousands of sexual predators in America. If it is lower and i'm sure it is would the facts find that if you grow up in a enviroment where there is no shame or hangups with a persons naked body would that help solve some of these predators hangups with society. |
