Posted - 05/28/2005 : 7:44:28 PM For those of you who want to go to Bulgaria this summer i suggest the best nude beach on the Black sea coast i ever found. It is in the Kamchia resort - 25km south from Varna. It is at the perfect location between river, forest and Black Sea. There is the widest beach on the coast you can walk naked with miles. I found the official site of the resort but the information about the beach is almost none. www.kamchia.net |

We have a house in Vikilski near Tervil and are in the process of building four more open plan 1 bedroom bungalows/villas as part of a naturist complex set in 2 acres of countryside with shared pool and unspoilt views of the surrounding countryside. We're really loving it and will let you know how we get on. You're all welcome anytime!
We're back in the UK on the 12th September so will put some photos up and stuff then.

Posted - 07/05/2008 : 04:03:32 AM This is, indeed a huge and lovely beach, and it looks like it is being protected from development. Only drawback is amount of rubbish washed up on the beach not cleared up. The part of the beach north of the river was 100% textile when I visited in June 2008. This is the part which is signposted Kamchia from the main Varna/Burgas road, and marked Kamchia on my road map. South of the river the beach can be found by turning off the road where signposted to Novo Orjahovo. Continue through the village till you are going through forest. You will see a gate (closed) at the entrance to a now defunct campsite. It may be possible to access the beach here, but I went down a track about 150m back towards the village. From here there is a fair walk from where you can get your car across the dunes to the beach. Alternatively, continue about 2km further down the road till you come to a cleared area with some buildings belonging to another defunct campsite. You can either walk or drive down a track slightly hidden behind the building which initially runs more or less parallel to the main road, before going VERY steeply down to the beach where there is some room for parking before continuing to the beach. From both these spots the beach is naturist in the sense there is so much space you can be nude, but even so most of the handful of people there wore costumes. You can also access the beach more easily by continuing further along the road to a signposted music bar. This area is more populated but 100% textile. Further on there is a campsite where there are fewer people, but again 100% textile. Methinks Bulgarians are rather shy! See all this in Google Maps via link here http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&ll=42.96955,27.88682&spn=0.043272,0.101023&t=h&z=14&msid=102441544612975733598.00045141cd23e8e7a6600 (switch to satellite view as map view has no detail)quote: Originally posted by vboy

Posted - 06/18/2008 : 10:46:35 AM Hello, can anyone please advise me, if there is any fully naturist camp in Bulgaria? (Preferrably to the south of Burgas, but not necessarily). I am looking for a naturist accommodation premises, where we could hire an appartement or chalet or mobilhome and bathe naturally (something similar to Koversada camp in Croatia). If I could get any recommendation, IŽd be very grateful. Thanks in advance.

Posted - 01/12/2008 : 4:41:00 PM Paul, I visited Golden Sands last July. The nude (C.O.) beach is at the far north of the resort past the harbour. The south end of the nude beach, which is the first section you come to, has umbrellas and sun loungers (a guy brings them over if required). I don't know the cost.
Personally I preferred the nude beach between Albena and Kranevo, there was more personal space, but it's not for the bashful since there's a fair bit of textiles strolling along the water's edge between the 2 resorts. Never saw any problems though. Umbrellas here were 5 leva to sit under.

Posted - 10/01/2007 : 11:00:36 AM I can provide more detail for those who are genuinely interested. There are a large number of hotels in Golden Sands within walking distance of this beach but near at hand is the Nirvana beach complex (I believe this associated with the German FKK federation) and also the Panorama camp which has some permanent cabins together with a number of camping spots. Both beach bars provide snacks and full meals, in addition to a wide range of drinks ! (P.S. If anyone happens to visit the Panorama bar early next year, please remember Angela and David (from UK) to Milano - a great guy !)

Posted - 09/30/2007 : 9:18:22 PM I have now returned from our holiday in Bulgaria and we found an excellent beach near Varna. It is actually just north of Golden Sands and can be accessed by walking at beach level beyond the Glarus hotel or by walking down a well made road from the bus halt on the main raod (e.g. bus 409 from Varna terminates at that point and provides a very frequent service), following the signs for the Nirvana beach. Access is very easy in both cases and it is a very clean and friendly beach with bar facilities at each end (both of which have toilets available). They is a small gay community (mainly at the north end) but it is also frequented by couples and families, both naked and clothed. We found it a very pleasant experience and would heartily recommend it to other naturists. |
