For those of you who want to go to Bulgaria this summer i suggest the best nude beach on the Black sea coast i ever found. It is in the Kamchia resort - 25km south from Varna. It is at the perfect location between river, forest and Black Sea.
There is the widest beach on the coast you can walk naked with miles. I found the official site of the resort but the information about the beach is almost none.

That's true. The place is very pleasant, I was there some 5-6 yrs ago. It's quite private, because it is on the other side of the Kamchia river, it is more CO beach, but most of the people are nude. Tha sand is fantastic.

I think you can find a lot of nice nude beaches in Bulgaria. I was last year in Sinemorets and there are also some.

 Yeh ! The Kamchia resort sounds fantastic, what do you do about transportation from airport (varna presumably)to resort, is there a reliable bus service ? or reasonably priced taxi's etc ?,

We're going to Varna within the next few weeks so I'm hoping we get time to check out the Kamchia resort, it looks perfect. We are regular visitors to Bulgaria, it's such an unspoilt place I'd recommend it to everybody.

We have a house in Vikilski near Tervil and are in the process of building four more open plan 1 bedroom bungalows/villas as part of a naturist complex set in 2 acres of countryside with shared pool and unspoilt views of the surrounding countryside.
We're really loving it and will let you know how we get on. You're all welcome anytime! 
We're back in the UK on the 12th September so will put some photos up and stuff then.

My wife and I are due to start a holiday at a beach resort near Varna (the name is something like Alemac) early in September.
If possible we would like to visit the nudist beach at Kamchia. (or any other location in that area, e.g. near Golden Sands)
Would we be able to attend as day visitors and how could we expect to get there using public transport ?

Hi Dave, we have stayed at Alemac a few times and it's cheap enough in a taxi as it's only about 10 minutes away. I'd just recommend getting the taxi driver to give you a price beforehand to be sure.
There is no charge on Kamchia beach and I'd recommend to check out Bernie's Inn on the main road near Alemac. It's owned by an English guy from Bury, Lancashire and you're guaranteed a welcome.
I'll be over in Varna myself at the end of August. Have fun!

Thanks for that information, Martin and Julie. As this is our first trip to Bulgaria I am sure this will prove useful.
My wife is desperately trying to lose some weight (she recently had a major back operation) so she may still be reluctant to 'reveal on' the beach !
I see you do not return until the 12th and we travel on the 5th, so it's just possible we may meet up, either on the beach or at Bernie's (I will ask out for you).
Are there any other tips you could possibly give us ?

I have now returned from our holiday in Bulgaria and we found an excellent beach near Varna. It is actually just north of Golden Sands and can be accessed by walking at beach level beyond the Glarus hotel or by walking down a well made road from the bus halt on the main raod (e.g. bus 409 from Varna terminates at that point and provides a very frequent service), following the signs for the Nirvana beach.
Access is very easy in both cases and it is a very clean and friendly beach with bar facilities at each end (both of which have toilets available). They is a small gay community (mainly at the north end) but it is also frequented by couples and families, both naked and clothed.
We found it a very pleasant experience and would heartily recommend it to other naturists.

I can provide more detail for those who are genuinely interested.
There are a large number of hotels in Golden Sands within walking distance of this beach but near at hand is the Nirvana beach complex (I believe this associated with the German FKK federation) and also the Panorama camp which has some permanent cabins together with a number of camping spots.
Both beach bars provide snacks and full meals, in addition to a wide range of drinks ! (P.S. If anyone happens to visit the Panorama bar early next year, please remember Angela and David (from UK) to Milano - a great guy !)

Hello David, thanks for the information about the nude beach in Golden Sands. We like to vist Golden Sands this year in august.Just one more question, are there chairs and umbrellas on the beach?
