Why is it so hard to talk to other people you meet online about nudism? It's so refreshing to come to sites like this and have open discussion about being nude....I've met a lot of people either here or online that love to chat..but when I finally tell them I'm a home nudist they are shocked....And it's always discussed in a non sexual way.....just that I enjoy a clothes free moment or two at home....oh well......

Well...it's nice to know there are a lot of us "home nudists" around and that it's something we enjoy....it's healthy...relaxing and stress reducing.........I've enjoyed all the different responses and again say this is a wonderful site.
Stay nude....

hi cheri...i agree with you. i have a friend that i have asked to accompany me to a nudist campground, and she wont' even consider it. i think people have been indoctrinated that nudity is somehow bad, and a nudist campground or resort must be a orgy or something. some nudist web sites, or on-line groups perpetuate that misconception, when they post nude pics of just mens genitals, or pics of women in comprimising positions. the public attitude toward nudist organizations is so negative, that i can't even find one in my area. i have searched in vain for some local nudists to meet or be friends. it will be a long difficult battle to ever change the ideas the public has about naturism or nudism. dave

I don't go to non-nudist chat areas though. In the past, I have posted nudist information on a travel site.

Hi, i am sort of new here
I live in Bulgaria, which is not very open to nudist activities. People really do accept very strange when ypu tell them that you like staying naked. This is sad, though. We also don't have any naturist places around, so the only place to stay nude is at home...

freeme,

Great news. PennSylvan is a nice place. However, they require that all visitors be AANR members. I'd happily facilitate that through my club for you. Just email me; the cost for online friends for a couple is $72.50/year. (cheridonna@prodigy.net)

Avalon in PawPaw is a nice place too.

I do wish you well.
Best regards,
Cheri

Cheri, A good turn of events, my better half says she will try it again, but after last year it needs to be legal and a nice place (family). It would be nice if their was some things to do like fishing, walking trails, etc. I was thinking about a place in paw paw W.V or Penn sylvia in P.A just north/west of Lancaster. ??

Thanks, I'll check them out and let you know.

freeme,
If the nonlanded club is AANR or TNS afilliated, it probably would be fine, such as the one I own/administer (Travelites). If you email me which club you might want to attend, I can give you my 2 cents if I have some knowledge of it.

Best regards, Cheri

JM,

We've been empty nesters for over 8 years. When our youngest went away to college we were obviously sadden but we started dating again. When my wife came home from work, I'd get dressed and we'd go out to dinner, movies, drinks after the movie. We had lots of together time that we had to put on hold for so many years.

Sometimes we'd just take off our clothes and hang out at home, actually did that a lot. We really do enjoy that same freedom today and though we love having our children back often for visits, we breath a sigh of contentment when they go home and we are able to take off our clothes and enjoy each others company.

No problum John, you did have me scratching my head for a minute.:-) Cheri, thanks. I have consired the clubs you mentioned but I am just not sure. I am a single nudist, not single. sorry. My partner was willing last summer and she was almost ready to go to assateague untill we saw on the news what happend. That was the end of that. She is ok with me being a nudist, we have a very strong relationship. I however would still like to go somewhere with out sending the wrong message. Do you think these non-landed clubs would be ok knowing my situation. As you might be able to tell I am very new at this and sometime nieve ( I don't think that's how you spell that, oh well)That's why I joined. Thank you for your advice, you have been a gracious host.

Thanks for sharing FireProf. The empty nest is a strange feeling at first. But the most blessed event comes with knowing you can finally do what comes naturally. When my son left, it was the first time that my wife and I felt truly liberated. I watch TV, read, enjoy our hot tub out on the back deck, and work in the basement totally au naturale. Before our immediate neighborhood became developed, I even enjoyed our private park out back. That was a first for me. Enjoying nude moments with nature.

We miss our kids everyday, as well as our grandkids.....but, there is something about the NEST when it's empty......we savor every minute!

OOps/ I'm a newbie and looked at the subject in reverse. Sorry guys. Didn't mean to stray.

Personally, I could not wait for my son to go out on his own. That left my wife and I freedom to walk around the house any way we choose. We enjoy nudity in the home also. Although I have to admit, its more of an acceptance that if you want to sit in a chair buck naked on a Saturday night watching TV, noone is going to care. We live in a small ranch style home ajacent to a town park and its forever wild behind us. I use our hot tub in the nude at night, and enjoy sitting in my basement office on the computer in the nude, and we both just sort of accept it.

freeme, what about the nonlanded clubs in your area: Chesapeake Jaybirds, Potomac Rambling Bares... are both single friendly.

I know that Pinetree doesn't welcome singles and MaHeSo is probably the same.

Thanks, Cheri
I had considered Assateague last summer untill people started to be arrested.
I would like very much to go to a resort but I'm back to the single male situation and most resorts and clubs in my area frown on that. I can't blame them but I do think it's a blanket policy that closes out the guys that are honest in their intent. Unless I find someone willing to go with me from my area as a friend my only choise is a beach. I wish people were more open about the way we were intended to be. Thanks
