Is it just me or do others find this site to be awfully slow to open and navigate? I visit many sites each day for work and leisure but I find this site to be the slowest by far to use. Its not a once off, its every time I log on.
Sometimes I don't even read all the posts because it just takes to long for pages to open. I have noticed a drop off in posts lately and I wonder if one reason could be that it just takes too long to do anything on the site.
It can't be anything to do with my computer or connection because I have no problem with other sites. |

WOW, not slow any more. I haven't been here in months (when I logged in it said 314 active topics, lol).
Thank you to admin for the upgrade. I know it's a very big deal as I help admin a website (not nudist related) and fast servers cost $.
I'm actually going to bookmark this site and jump in more often.

WOW! What a difference! I had actually stopped posting due to slow speeds; no time for such. Today was very different AND VERY ENJOYABLE! Like driving in the HOV lane! |

One of these days, DSL and/or cable will reach these rural roads so I can enjoy the zippiness at home as well as at my regular office. It is faster than it was on dial-up, but it isn't as fast as on the backbone of the University.

This page got natural in 1.15 seconds. 
The SQL upgrade for the database is complete. And boy is the site zippy! It's a pleasure to post again.
You folks that hung in there during the s - l - o - w times have the sheer tenacity it takes to make things happen. You made your posts happen even if it took ten minutes for the !%@$^@ page to load. Welcome to zippyland, dedicated posters everywhere.
Keep any eye out for that Donate button. We're going to need your help to pay for this more expensive server, and to pay the excellent folks that made the upgrade go so smoothly. |

Response time on this site is getting slower and slower. If something is not done soon to correct the situation I'm afraid that you will lose quite a few members. It's terrible. |
