We are going to be in the Washington DC area in August. Wondering if anyone has any locations around the area, ie MD, VA for nude beaches or resorts. We're there for over a week and definitely would like to explore and locate for a few days of sun.
nothing feels better than the warm sun on 100% of the body!

Hi DavidandCathy -- there are a few around the DC area. There is MAHESO (Maryland Health Society) in Davidsonville, Pine Tree in Crownsville. Depending on how much traveling you want to do...there is White Tail in Ivor, VA and Avalon in Paw Paw, WV. Hope you enjoy your stay and get a chance to visit a couple while you are here. As I recall, White Tail isn't really that far from DC. We thought about going but were only in DC for a week and had never been so ... we kept the nudity confined to the room this time and decided that we'd stay longer next time, make the side trip to WT for a couple days and then drive back. I thought it was about an hour - an hour and a half away from DC.
Another reason we thought against it ... we were in DC in January with temps in the single digits and windy. We checked the temps for Ivor, VA and they weren't any different. Didn't want to make the trip to keep our clothes on so ... we'll have to visit both places when the weather is warmer.
Hope you find someplace to go. Let us know if you do and how it was.

We love White Tail Resort. It, however, is about a 3 hour drive from DC. Here's a heads up: I-95 southbound from DC to Fredricksburg, VA is often something of a parking lot for some reason, so leave early if you want a full day in the sun.
