Not sure how to get your wife to try it but I will tell you how I got my wife to.
I talked to her first about just trimming. Once she was okay with trimming and we started going to the nude beach, she saw many other women that were either trimmed significantly or completely smooth. I asked if she wanted to try it, if she didn't like it, she could always go back to the trimmed look.
We trimmed even more off and left a very small landing strip. She has said that she would now like to be completely smooth and is now considering lazer treatments to be permanently smooth.
It took a little coaxing, some patience, and my wife seeing so many other naturist women with very little or no pubic hair for her to feel okay about it at first. After being almost smooth for that last couple of years, she is now wanting to be completely smooth.

I heard those laser treatments are quite costly.I spoke to somone in a chatroom at another nudist site and I think she said it was between $1200-$1800. Is that just for the pubic area or does that include legs too?

Gar,
I spoke with that female co-worker and she stated that her daughters lazer treatments to remove her pubic hair was around a thousand dollars. We didn't talk about other areas so I'm assuming that was the cost for her daughters pubic hair removal only.
It is expensive and you can buy lots of disposable razors for a $1000 bucks but I think my wife's reason for considering it is the maintanence issue. Not having to be shaved every few days.

i have been totally smooth for three years! like the feel and look! my wife has also joined in. i put vasoline over entire area (little goes a long way) after shaving and coming out of shower. keeps it looking and feeling smooth!
nude and smooth in the mountain state

I'm smooth for almost 30 years, but it is still a turn-on for me to be totally clean shaven. I just enjoy being nude and smooth.

Being SMOOTH is the best feeling. I feel more nude this way. Wife is bare everywhere but her head, and I still have hair on my chest, wife likes it there, but pretty much bare every place else.

How smooth? My girl keeps my arms and legs trimmed close and Everything else is shaved smooth front and back even my underarms.

Hi all:
I started shaving about 2 years ago, I am totally smooth except for my head and eybrows.
Reaaction of most people has been great, I am a very athletic toned guy and I like how my body looks shaved, most body buiders are smooth for comptitions.
It takes a lot of work, thought about laser, expensive and not sure yet I never want option of growning some back.
Spread the word smooth is fun.

I have shaved my chest a couple of times, but found I got down right cold without it. So now I shave is my pubes, shaft, and scrotum.

My favorite rationalization for shaving has been "Well, after all, I was born without pubic hair." Of course the same thing is true for teeth! Gonna pull those? :-)

OK, you guys. Many of you talk about being completely shaven except for your head. I shave everything except my head too, but I also don't shave my forearms, but nobody mentions them. Do you guys shave your forearms too. I almost think hair there looks strange when the rest is smooth. What do you guys do? I've been considering using the new Nair for Men on them. Ideas?

I remove most of my hair(epilator), as they say from nose to toes, except for a small portion of my chest and forearms. So, like you, I think about doing it, but I just don't do it.

For the most part, I just trim short. I don't want to go to the effort to keep it clean shaven all the time. I think it looks nice and doesn't look like a wet cat when you come out of the water.
