My wife's entire book club.
This actually happened this week end. The book they happened to be reading mentions nudism; as the author herself tried social nudity at a resort and wrote a chapter in her book about it. Conversation about it ensued, and my wife - finding herself unable to contain herself - exclaimed: "Well you know...I'm a nudist!" Only one of the ladies in her book club already knew. It was actually pretty well received by the other ladies. And two of them actually approached her afterwards to ask her more questions about it and expressed interest in joining us on our next trip.
I have my doubts it'll actually happen though. Being naked around my wife probably wouldn't scare them off; but around me and other nudists might give them pause. I don't want to be in a situation where they come with us and "chicken out" once we get there and get naked. We'll just have to see...

Perhaps they can set something up where they and your wife spend a day naked together so they can see how that feels? If they are comfortable enough then perhaps you can join in and they can see how it is to be around someone of the opposite sex. Of that is comfortable to them, then they can try a day at a resort or a beach with you and your wife. Baby steps.

Brother and sister in law know. All of our friends are nudist. Our sons probably know. But at our age, we don’t care who knows. If the neighbors know they are welcome to join us for a barbecue and a few beers.

I ran those ideas by my wife, and she just kinda brushed them off. I understand her nonchalance; this is the third/fourth time she's been down that road: the first time with a good friend of hers, who actually insisted on coming with us, but then backed out at the last minute when she realized that she actually wasn't 100% ready to be naked in front of me; and then again more recently with another good friend, whose BF backed out when he realized he wasn't 100% ready to be naked in front of us both (that one was the most disappointing to my wife because the two of them had already been nude around each other; and my wife really felt that this would be easy).
After being bombarded with questions from the latest lady, my wife is starting to feel like this is an exercise in futility. So she decided to give the two ladies tentative dates and leave it up to them to contact her and schedule the outings.
Some people have no issues bringing non-nudist friends into the nudist fold. For us, it has been inordinately difficult. It seems non-nudists friends like the idea of us introducing them to nudism; but then get scared when they actually think about the fact that I will also see them naked. That's why it's much easier to befriend nudists, who have already been through the process of getting comfortable with social nudity.
But the summer is just starting; so we'll see how things develop. I will keep the group posted.

Most that know me, know that I am nude at home all of the time. I am always working in the yard or garden nude. They either call before coming to visit or just show up. Most do not care and a couple of them will join me being nude here. Also have a couple families that we have nude BBQ's, coffee and just visiting.
Being nude is just another venue to enjoy life!!!

2 people yesterday tagged me on Facebook in a post about nude pickle ball becoming popular. One girl, I’ve been naked around before. She used to hang out at a friends house when I lived in Montreal and I would be naked in their pool and hot tub, and she was naked in the hot tub as well. But the other one is a kid I’ve known since grade school (he was in my brothers class 2 years behind me) and I’ve never once discussed my nudism with him before.

Now...also a co-worker.
I was at the resort with my wife today, sitting by the lake, when a naked woman walked by us who "looked familiar." When I saw her face I recognized her instantly. She recently used to work with me. She then saw my face, froze for a second; at which point the "situation" was clearly unavoidable. So I called out her name, which confirmed that I was indeed who she thought I was, and she nervously approached me. We were both obviously very surprised by this "unexpected turn of events" lol!
The fact that we were both naked made it clear that we were both nudists and were on the "same page." We were also there with our respective spouses. Which alleviated the initial nervousness. We chatted for a while, and both agreed (not that it even needed to be said) to not disclose to the rest of the staff (with whom she is still in contact) the fact that we had seen each other naked at a nudist resort. After the chat we gave each other a little space, went about our day, and reconvened before we left. At that point there was no longer any anxiety, and agreed that we were no longer just old co-workers; but now also nudist friends. Phone numbers as well as hugs were exchanged, and we all agreed to hang out again.
I'd always wondered what would happen if I ever ran into someone I knew at the resort. Now I know, and it was actually pretty cool!

Since my last post...well my wife's two friends are out of the picture. She reached out to them a couple of times and they both "next time'd!" her. No surprises there. Social nudity is "easier said than done" - for people interested, but with zero experience with it. My wife has decided to just let it go. They can always reach out if or when they're ready.
But no matter. We are now "established nudist friends" with my co-worker; and it's been pretty great! It's been a bit of a stretch for my wife, who prefers "private nudism" away from the crowd, or sporadic socializing. So spending most of the day socializing naked with the same people was a bit challenging for her. Luckily she enjoys their company; and the more she's gotten to know them, the easier it's gotten for her to spend a lot of time with them and get comfortable with it. But to keep things balanced for her, we split our time between them and hanging out by ourselves.
It's been a pretty good nudist summer so far; except maybe for the crazy midwestern weather.

I have a few friends that also enjoy nudity and small gatherings. We have done outside work together, sat down to have coffee and just relaxed.

I completely forgot, we were out on a boat with another couple, some of my girlfriend’s friends, a few weeks ago. We were wearing our bathing suits as they aren’t nudists. We had just returned the night before from 2 days at a nude resort in Canada. I was talking to the male of the couple and I mentioned where we had been. He said “oh you guys are nudists?” I told him that I am, but my girlfriend isn’t exactly. She gets naked at resorts and beaches with me but she doesn’t seize every opportunity to get naked like I do.
He then said something to his girlfriend about it, about them maybe going one day to a resort or something, but she wasn’t interested. But at least now they know.

Nobody I actually know, but almost 2 weeks ago I was at the hospital for some surgery and when I had finished getting dressed, the nurse came to check on me. She said something along the lines of not wanting to disturb me before I finished dressing, I told her I was a nudist so it was no big deal to me. She replied “really?” kind of inquisitively but since my throat was messed up, I couldn’t try to carry on a conversation about it.
