Hey guys,
Spend a lot of time in Florida, just wondering if there are any nude beaches near St, Petes or Tampa area. Spend some time on the Canaveral shores but this is quite a trip, Hopefully there is something closer

Sorry, don't know of any. I know there have been petitions for a beach to be designated clothing optional, but haven't heard of anything accomplished.
You can check this site out for anything else http://naturistplace.com/nudeusa.htm

Hi Sunshine, I keep hearing about Fort DeSoto which is in your area. I don't know much about it except it's not a legal nude beach. From what I understand, you have plenty of time to cover up if you see any rangers coming. I had some friends who went there often.

Finally went to Haulover yesterday. Wanted to go to Apollo Beach today but when I got up here, it was very cloudy and a bit chilly.

LOL FireProf, I sure did. As a matter of fact, on Thursday night (last week), my first night in Florida, it was only 51 degrees. It was 1 degree when I left Niagara Falls. I posted something on Facebook, along the lines of "I know I shouldn't complain, because right now it's 50 degrees warmer than what I left earlier today, but I'm cold!!!!"

Well ... cold is ... cool, chilly ... cold! Whatever the temp variation ... sometimes it's just not warm enough to be naked or drive naked! LOL
Keep the car heater on!

David, 70 is very cold at Apollo, the wind off the ocean is a killer there. Only way you can handle those temps are with a wind screen.

We are going to Haulover the last week in July. Anyone have any advice, places to eat, things to see, places to go? We will be flying and will need beach equipment, looking for advice.
