Here is the spot to get info on both nude areas in and around Saugatuck. There are basically two places to hang out. One is north of the pier and the other is south of the pier. The area north of the pier is just south of the State Park. You can park at the State Park or in the township parking area near the Felt Mansion. Take the trails to the beach area. The best spots are south of the State Park beach. The second spot and most popular is on the south side of the pier. Head to the Oval Beach, park in the north part of the lot and walk along the beach north. Half-way between the public beach and the pier. Just beyond the last 500' sign and just up in the dunes are great places to be nude and enjoy the day. Leave a private message or post on here for more info.
I understood that it was no longer a naturist area to go to, ever since the land changed owners..? If it is still an option, would love to hear more about it. I've never gone there before, but my wife and I would love to try it. Would also like to find out more about a location near the State-local park areas. When are the best days and times to go?
The best place in west michigan is Saugatuck near oval beach. See above post for details. Best days are during the week as there are less people just out for a stroll on the beach. Best spots are just up in the dunes past the last 500' sign. During the week only 10 or so are there, weekends, double that. Mostly guys and couples. Feel free to be nakedand enjoy the day. Saturday, June 8 - Nudist Day at Oval Beach - Lets get as many nudists as we can together today at the beach, just like old times. Hang out just up in the dunes and enjoy the day. Best spots is about half way between the main beach and the pier.
