Warmskin, don't take my word for it, let Mike tell you all about it.

This was filmed at one end of the deck at the poolside bar, Streakers.
I'm going to miss all of these people over the winter. Let's get it over with and start an early spring.

Talented guy at the guitar!! Yes, I want to hold on and get winter out of the way, and I quite imagine many other nudists feel the same way, save for Floridians, and Arizonans. We Californians have more summer to go, and I expect to take advantage of it.
The ocean beaches here actually are more enjoyable in the fall, since there is no more summer fog to dampen one's spirits. Only in California does it get hotter when summer goes away. Go figure, as the expression goes. It will continue warm here until about the end of October or so. The time between then and late April are bound to be a requirer of clothing.

Far more entertaining was a linked YouTube clip www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlfrcH6DEww&feature=related) of an episode of "What's My Line?" from 1958. The mystery guest was an odd little man who ran a nudist camp in Indiana. The panelists, a shrewd bunch, nailed the guest's occupation rather quickly. But the best part of the show is the panelists themselves. The men (I should say 'gentlemen') are in tuxes; the women are wearing gloves! One panelist was a very youthful Jack Lemmon. Nudist content aside, the clip is a wonderful snapshot of 1950's TV. And who wouldn't have wanted to see Arlene Francis nude?

It would be fun to watch them all function nude. They were elegant back in those days. Notice Arlene Francis' gloves that she wore. John Daly is a class act; the perfect gentleman, of whom we need so many more of his type these days. As a boy, I say many of these old shows. And yes, I wore suits a lot back then. Not much fun for a boy, but that's how it was then. At least the cars were much better looking then.

There was an even earlier What's My Line with nudist "camp" director Yolande Reed that was absolutely priceless. The audience roared with every tingling innuendo from Steve Allen and even host John Day could barely contain himself. However, the reaction from Dorothy Kilgallen when she comes to the realization of the woman's profession is what makes this a real gem.

Hey PA biker, thanks for posting my song, glad you enjoyed it! I'm trying to figure out who you are.
It was great fun playing every Friday happy hour at the new pool bar, Streakers. I was sad that the season ended last weekend. See you next year, Lord willing!

Hey Mike, nice to hear from you. I'm the long hair, beard, and boonie hat guy at the bar. Got your song on the ipod, too. See you in spring!

I am member of the club in question. My wife and began going there in 2001 or so and we joined as members a couple years ago.
I go sometimes without her and yes, I do notice that some folks are not as welcoming towards me, an apparent single male, as they are when I am with my wife. However, for the most part, everyone is VERY friendly there, whether I am with her or not.
I see several single males that are there often and they very much involved in the social interactions with other couples and singles. I think you need to give it a few more tries. I am always amazed how friendly this place is.
As anywhere, nudist club or not, when you get a group of folks together, some will bond better with others. Don't give up, this is a great place.

Yep, I know this place also (hint: it's near Sacramento). That pool scene can be very drunken and cliquish. The owners are lovely people, but their general manager could use a year or two of work on his social skills...but it's a great place in other respects.

wow my wife and i are really looking forward to our first nudist vacation.. our thought was that nudist would be the exact opposite of what is going on here. I hope we find it open and friendly because when you are wearing nothing what else do you have
