There was a good suggestion for an "off topic" topic, where the Admin won't gripe at you for ignoring the subject!

Well fellow nudists it is looking at a new year and hope all is well. Boy back east and the north have sure had the cold and bad weather. Wood not like to have my bare buns out there.It is cool here in Quartzsite,but its looking like hi 60s or low 70s next week. will be going out to the magic circle on monday. have a happy nude year all.........old buzzard

Hope all had a joyous Christmas and wish everyone a very healthy happy new year!!! Find joy in the basics in life and we will all be able 2 do that! Never hurts to scale back from the life of excess. With the economy so bad and allot of people in trouble including me.  It's allways a joy to remember I don't have 2 spend allot on CLOTHS!!!!!!  Cherrish the little things and I allways give thanks for the blessing I have received.
Again may all have a blessed NEW YEAR!!!!!

Happy New Year to everyone, spring is around the corner and planning several nude hikes and floats down the river. Hope to also visit Apollo or Haulover in the spring.......

My most fervent current wish for the New Year season is that a long-term cease fire will happen in Ghaza. But then, there was no practical excuse for Hamas firing over three thousand rockets against Israel's people AFTER Israel unilaterally halted the Ghaza occupation in 2005, as a gesture of good will. Unfortunately, you can't have a one sided peace.

I have a question that I have never seen addressed? Why do people feel that they have to have a couple of drinks to be more comfortable in a nude setting? I For one do not drink and feel very unconforable around people that are very loose and high.
Why go to a nude enviorment if we all want to get goofy and dumb? Any feedback ?

You're not alone in feeling this. It seems at times that the places we've visited are overrun with drinkers. I'll have an occasional sip of wine, but that's it. Some of my friends will not visit some of the more popular destinations because of the overabundance of drinking and adults acting up because of it.

I don't know if this needs it's own topic or not.
Why do naturist resorts require people to shower, with soap, before intering their pool or jacuzi? If I were to go to a regular textile resort for the day just to hang out, have a picknick and use their pool, I wouldn't need to shower first. Does the lack of costume Make such a big difference? If you think about it, the costume is made of fabric, not plastic, so the water will pass right through it and anything on the skin under the costume will eventually make its' way into the pool water.
Can any body help here?

I agree bobski96. I don't drink either, mostly because it gives a headache -Before I get to the drunk bit - but also I don't like being out of control and end up doing things I might regret. If only people could see what they get up to when they've had too much to drink.

Have you ever seen a hot tub when someone wearing lotion has used it?! It gets this "wonderful" scum on the surface or just gets very cloudy. I guess nudist places are just more careful about their water condition.

Showers pre-pool are required in just about every placer I've ever been, from WMCA and a Municipal Pool when I weas a kid, up to the place that the Phi Nu nudists rented in 2005. The two pools in my current hometown are both posted "Must Shower before entering pool."
