Morn Honeysuckle....no, just a pic I found on a joke pics website....but fits how I spend most of my time at camp. The rest is usually spent sitting on our deck visitting with friends and drinking beer, reading books aand drinking beer, and watching the trees and the birds and such and drinking beers. Oh, did I mention drinking beer? margrittas also. We have 3 dogs...a bassett hound (mine), a beagle(son's), and a rat terrier (wife's). our trailer at camp gets a bit crowded at times.

Just your average mallard.

"...all those RV's set up in the desert outside Quartsite..."

There are RV set up EVERYWHERE around Quartsite in the winter. Jillions of them. The Magic Circle is located in the La Posa South BLM long term rv area, 'bout two or so miles south of town on the highway to Yuma. You just follow the paved road thru the rv area 'til it ends in about a mile, then continue another mile or so on the dirt road. You will see signs indicating Magic Circle...

18 degrees here when I took the dog for a walk at 7 AM. Dry though and no sign of snow.

Everyone have a good day.

Good morning, everyone :)

*setting out fresh-baked cinnamon scones*

It's another glorious morning in the desert. It's so peaceful and quiet, just me and birds out on the back deck. And you guys :)

OBG, you're so right about the zillions of RV's in Quartzsite. The time I saw them it looked like a convention. It's like a new city that sprung up out there.

My daughters are coming over this morning and we're going hiking. It's such a nice time of year for it ... much cooler and the unfriendly crawling critters are all underground.

You guys have a wonderful Sunday :)

You take care of that back, Buzzard. What exercises will you be doing? I'll bet yoga would be very good for you.

No, not year-round in Arizona. I usually spend the summer in northern Idaho, although I did do some traveling this past summer ... my girls were in Europe so I wandered around visiting my sister in Colorado and some friends I hadn't seen in a while. It was wonderful.

Talk to you later :)

Carole

Morn all...AOL says temps here are 33 degrees. Coffee's on...internet is warmed up. One of the few times I'm glad it's monday. Been on call for a week, and the weekend especially sucked because I have to be near the phone and basically "trapped" at the house (I don't know how you doctors and such do it being on call all the time). Reason why I've been posting for the most part. Usually just have time to read...then get ready to start my day.

Have a good day....peace

I hate cold but trying to embrace and ignore it.

I have to do something for my father, but the snow is a few miles away according to the aviation weather radar, so I will probably stay home and study and do laundry.

Send warm weather and sun!!

No shame

Buzzard, just in time for Christmas .. lol .. where is Fruitland? Is that down near Boise?

Good morning, Rebel ... I think you've got the right attitude ... you can't beat the cold, and it just makes it worse if you try. I like your tagline ... "no shame". Never any shame for being free and open in the sunshine ...

Amen to that! I love the human body - mine, others, why should hide something so beautiful?

Unfortunately, I am going to be spending the afternoon clothed and in the freezing cold outdoors :(

Cant wait to strip down tonight and feel the sheets all over my skin :)
