One of my young relatives (who is 14 and still living with his parents) has recently noticed how cool it is to be a nudist. His parents i would believe to be totally against it, and he told me he doesn't have enogh courage to ask them about it. What should he do? Any other advice?

Tell him to get educated. Assuming he has access to the internet, give him a list of half-a-dozen legitimate web sites. Tell him to read every word, and to read every word of sites they link to.
Tell him to locate nudist/naturist places near where he lives, and to learn especially about them. Also direct him to a summary of the law in both his state and locale.
Play fair: Make sure the sites you give him are representive of ALL segments of nudism, not just some small segment thereof and not just the segments you approve of or prefer. I'll suggest a list if you like.

He is the age that many of us discovered we liked being nude. We all have to adjust to the fact we can't be nude all the time. Tell him wear as little as possible whenever and wherever. Tell him to be careful on the web. Sending pictures with a webcam or cellphone could get him on a lot of trouble. There are pervs looking for boys as well as girls. He can read the threads here. Alsos, YOU could talk to his parents.

Proceed with caution. If you provide the teen with nudist resources (publications, websites) and his parents come across it, he may say: "Oh...I got that from Nick!" And you may be in for a confrontational conversation with the parents, particularily if they are adverse to the concept.
I would provide encouragement, but without engaging myself. At this point, "pointing him in the right direction" should be enough.

Be very cautious on giving advice of any kind to a minor as it may well come back and bite you. He should pluck up the courage and speak to his parents.Do they know that you are a nudist?
