hey, everybody. I am new in Chicago been here for less than a year and was wondering if there are any nice and safe places to go nude beaching around?

Contact Chicago Sun Club, affiliated with AANR. Go to www.aanr.com and click on Find a Club and then click on IL. You might find others affiliated with TNS; go to www.naturistsociety.com and click on Naturist Network and insert IL or any other state in which you're interested.

Thanks for the both responses.
Actually what I was really looking for is a place where I can just go on my own without having to become a member of a club, without having to register, book and wait for the event-day to come...; I really want sometimes to escape from the city and have a quite nude beaching around a lake or somewhere in the park - where there'll be no noisy events or entertainments with families, kids, music, cookies, etc... - I hope you know what I mean.
I just moved in from Europe and was hoping i would have much more personal freedom here but seems like the society around is much more conservative and restrictive... Don't know help me to find out...

You got the picture. In the United States, people are generally Puritan, except for the nudists (there are some in America). If you on your own, undress and enjoy nudity, you run the risk of being arrested. Worse yet, if any children are present, you could be charged with child abuse. Such organizations as AANR and TNS have been fighting this since their inception. Cheri has a good suggestion to check out AANR and TNS. Also check out Earlash1 suggestion.
To join a nudist club is the next best idea to what you have in Europe. When the club has an event is your opportunity to enjoy nudism; although I grant you that you must wait for that day. Without the club, the time to enjoy nudity is never.

Its a shame indeed......... but a lot of USA public nude beaches & lakes can have a very seedy feel......lots of single males & just a few women........ you need to get many more couples & females to get a better balance. The clubs do try hard to promote this
