I myself have never gone for a massage. Its something ive always wanted to go do because I think it would be extremely relaxing and soothing.
Have always wondered if nude massages were done in Calgary or not. Not sure at all how it works and what must be worn. I do however believe that a massage is intended to relax ones body and being nude i think would help to completley free tensions and relax entirely.
But of course with being nude and being rubbed comes possibility of that erection happening. And like the other men have said it would create tension trying to keep that from happening. Sounds like its fairly common though and may not have to worry too much about it if it does occur. But what does the MT think if the guys on his back and an erection happens. Would maybe feel somewhat embarassed, but really just means hes enjoying the massage and wouldnt be sexual at all. Is that kind of what to think about that topic?
Anyways hope to keep reading and one day actually go for a professional massage. Who knows, maybe even nude if possible

For over a year, my wife and I have a massage therapist come to our house twice a month. On her first tip here we asked if we had to have draping. She said she was good with it if we were. So about the only time we put on clothes in the house is to open the front door and let her in. Last week we happened to be talking about how nice it was to not have moving draping all the time be such a distraction and she said that she really likes it too because it lets her make long / relaxing strokes, she was in the business of working on bodies so it was no big deal, and she doesn't have so much laundry to do. To all those who have the erection fixation - forget it! Do you get aroused when a doctor touches you? While sex is great fun, a relaxing massage is just that, relaxing.
You'll love it if you get a chance to enjoy a nude massage. The only problem is then getting a draped one. Feels like you are inside a sleeping bag!

I'm not the most tactile person in the world, and the very thought of anyone, other than the one special person in my life, touching me all over filled me with dread, but I did try massage at a naturist event to try to ease my tense neck muscles, and I think I'm cured. No not the neck muscles, that comes back whenever I have to deal with some of the jerks I work with, what I meant was I'm cured of my aversion to being massaged by a stranger, I find it very relaxing and I fall asleep during the session, and don't you find that that hour you booked disappears faster than the hour the guy before you booked?

I know what you mean and felt that way in the beginning as well.
Sometimes I wish I hadn't become such good friends with our masseuse. She's wonderful, a beautiful person and I love talking to her and catching up on each others lives.
We tend to talk through the whole massage. I think I've only fallen asleep once in the past 6 years she's been giving us massages.
She'd be hard to replace and I'd have a hard time, as well, finding someone that I am comfortable with touching me that isn't my wife.

The FIRST thing we do when we get to Orient Beach St. Martin is sign up for a massage.
Like most things we've found while on vacation - if it's great, it's probably even BETTER when NUDE!
Found that to be true about massages, particularly in our one favorite harbor.

I have travelled quite a bit and enjoy massages in different countries.
In Asia and Australia there is no problem of being nude when you are being massage. I would normally drape a towel round me and on the massage table, the masseuse would eventually undo the towel when they massage you as not to be too restrictive. There are only two occassion that I can remember that I was being massaged by men all the other times were women.
On the question of getting an erection during the massage, well it does happen especially when they massage your thighs or close to your groin or when they give you a butt massage. Its a natural reaction and most dont make any issue about it.
My wife and I has been to massages together. The first few times she wore her bra and panties and put on the robe provided. During the massage, the masseuse would undo the robe and unhook her bra to rub her back. The next few times she went braless under the robe and now she dont wear anything at all.
To enjoy a good massage one has to be naked. We are all for it.

My last massage I had my undershorts half way down my butt. It didn't seem to bother her, but I don't know how she would react if I was nude. Maybe the next time I'll give it a try, we'll see.

I've just started going to a place here in St. Pete on 4th street and when I've gone in and get back in the room where the massage will take place. They tell ya to undress down as far as you're comfortable, but at least as far as one's shorts and then leave the room while ya get undressed. Telling ya to get under the sheet on the table after you've gotten undressed.
Which even if I wasn't a nudist and already comfortable with the human body I would have to undress all the way. As I don't drive but ride a bicycle. And I've started wearing the much more comfortable padded riding shorts. Which with their thick pads would make a massage of the gluts rather difficult I think.
The place I go to has I think an electirc blanket on the table, covered with a sheet and has a round pillow for putting under one's legs. Over this they have another sheet and blanket, and one is instructed to get between the sheets.
Then they do most of the massage thorugh the sheet/blanket. Moving it aside for legs and back.
I have to think that it would be easier on them to work on a person without the sheet/blanet combination, but I'm not going to say anything until I've been going there for awhile.
It's also interesting that unlike a therapist that I used to see on a regular basis over in Tampa that they start with the client on their back vs. belly. But I guess that's how they like to do things at the new place.

I have had plenty of massages over the years, all of them here in the UK. At no time have I had any sort of covering on whilst the massage was given. Many of the MT have commented on my seamless tan and asked where I went to achieve it.
There are places in the UK where the MT carries out the massage in the nude as well. They have told me that they find it easier stretching over bodies without the restrictions of clothing.
We have a monthly magazine over here called H&E Naturist and in the back there are a number of advertisements for naturist massage. None of them are of the 'wrong' type of establishment as before an advert is accepted they have to submitt copies of there qualifications to the publisher for vetting.
A massage by a nude MT with you also nude is one of the most relaxing and at the same time invigurating things I have ever experienced.

I go for a massage every two weeks and it has made a significant improvement in my overall health. When looking for a massage therapist, I always question him or her if he/she is OK with my being nude. In general, I have found that gay massage therapists are more accepting of the idea of a nude client. All therapists I spoke to agree that they can give a better massage if the client is nude. Erections are no big deal for any massage therapist I have met and none have ever seen it as anything other than a natural body response.Due to state regulations, some therapists shy away from giving you a nude massage but will often agree if you are a regular client.

I am not an LMT...but have been getting asked (alot) to give massages for compensation. Most of the people asking me to give the massage want me to do it nude. Is it illegal for me to do that? Some have said if I choose to be nude in private with another adult is my business, and that as long as I am getting paid for massages (nothing else) and I claim the income on my taxes I am not doing anything illegal. I am only looking to do this for some extra money, and if being nude gets me more money I am willing to do it, but I don't want to break any laws and get in trouble either.

Being nude in a private setting is not illegal. Getting paid for being nude is not illegal either, exotic dancers and nude models get paid for being nude.
Money for sex is a different story. The part I would be worried about is providing massage services without a license
