Other facilities in Vera Playa include a good choice of bars and restaurants, supermarkets and shops, and evening entertainment. A dozen or so apartment complexes offer a large number of privately owned properties for rent, should this be your chosen form of accommodation.

We have visited both Vera Playa (hotel) and Vera Natura quite a few times. The climate is pretty perfect and the beach long and wide. It is the beach that Hannibal landed his army, including the famous elephants, en-route to Rome. For naturists it all has a lot to offer. The apartments at Vera Natura are well appointed and the place boasts a large outdoor pool plus a warm inside one. Vera Natura is situated in the naturist zone and one can walk about in the streets naked. The hotel, Playa Natura is a naturist hotel, but after 8pm is open to the public and clothes then worn. It has a huge swimming pool around which the hotel curves almost in a horse shoe and has maybe hundreds of palm trees offering shade. Access to the beach is direct and if the weather turns cool a small indoor pool offers a very warm option. The nearest airport is Almeria, about fifty minutes by car or taxi. Well worth checking out on the numerous web sites detailing all the many naturist options.
