Nude in AK

While this is not really related to us like being nude, or our nude life style I hope that any here that live in the path of Harvey are safe! It sounds like many people in the path are taking extra steps to help others. That is one thing that does make the USA great! People helping other, even complete strangers!

a lot of people in Houston and Beaumont are going to have a hard time finding dry clothes. Maybe they should just do without.
Naked is green.

My wife just donated some of her vacation time to an employee who is currently living in a shelter so that she can get paid for the week. My wife does not know this person but like Nude in AK said...it doesn't matter if we know the person or not. I'm currently unemployed but I think the company I'll be working for in a couple of weeks is doing something similar so maybe once I start I can donate some of my vacation time as well to someone who needs it.

My sister lives in an area that has been evacuated. She's fortunate to have a close friend that has put her and her family up until the evacuation order is lifted. Neighbors are coming together to help each other and that is fortunate. It's been my experience in these types of situations that, that is what many people will do.
The department I worked for, for over 32 years, has sent Swift Water Rescue and Search and Rescue Teams into the affected areas to assist First Responders that are overwhelmed. In these times and situations, it helps that neighbors are helping neighbors and those able to assist others, are doing so, so that First Responders are able to help those that can not help themselves.

I watch with horror what is happening to the people in the path of Harvey and wish them well as a result of the devastation that they are suffering. Their lives are more important that the material loss they have suffered and may G-d be with you all.
