I've been going over all the information I've obtained and appears you must be part of a nudist organization (in order be part of a nudist club) prior to being a member of said club (I think!). My question to anyone out there is "do you have to join an organization prior to even attempting to go to a club, are there set cost to belong to such organizations, and what (if any) clubs out there aren't card carrying members (that are legit) can you go to (other than the beach or home) or do they have to be affiliated with any organization. I'd like to make sure that everything I do is up-an-up right down the line. Making sure all my i's are dotted and the t's crossed! I've sent out a couple of e-mails in the past but got no reply from some of the clubs! Any help step by step would be appreciated: Thank-you!

Stretch, Most clubs will allow you to visit before joining them and the national organizations. The upside of joining before visiting is three fold: the club knows you're serious about nudism; you are supporting organizations that fight for us to keep nudist venues; and lastly - you get a discount off of grounds fees at landed clubs (those with permanent facilities).
If you need national affiliation, I'll gladly facilitate that for AANR and/or TNS through my club (Travelites).
Most legitimate clubs are either affiliated with AANR and/or TNS. Where are you located, and I'll gladly make a recommendation. Regards, Cheri

STRETCH,
Cheri is right on all points. One thing I would add to her point, "the club knows you're serious about nudism" is that if you are a single male or plan to visit alone on some occasions, some clubs look on you with distrust about your intentions - unless you are club affiliated.
I'd recommend going going with her club. It's easy and inexpensive, and it doesn't matter where you live. Her and I talked about joining through her club some time ago, and I am going to as soon as it's practical for me to do so. Right now, I have to improve my financial situation.

Also, Randy, if a single man of my club wants to attend a traditionally non-single landed club, I will call for that individual to try to gain entrance for him.
Hugs, Cheri

That's good to know, Cheri. I've not heard of others being so helpful. I'll join when I pull myself out of this quagmire of medical bills. They now exceed $60,000. But soon, I hope, I will have that taken care of.
