The Plaza shopping centre in Oxford Street is holding a naturist shopping night on Monday June 21 2004, 7.30pm - 9pm.
The shopping centre will be open to registered people who wish to shop in a naturist environment.
Shops that are open, and will be offering discounts include Jeans West, WH Smith, The Perfume Shop, and food outlets in the food court.
Nick Mayhew, the co-author of Bare Beaches, will be by the food court in the Plaza selling and signing copies of the book. More details on the Updates page at http://www.barebeaches.com/wp/index.php
The organisers advise access will be through the front doors of The Plaza, on Oxford Street, where registered participants will be allowed entry.
There will be secure changing facilities within The Plaza - you will be directed upon arrival.

Lets say you were shopping nude at Jeans West and wanted to try on some clothes, to see if they fit. How are they planning to handle the hygene issue?

just the fact that nude shopping is being done is a bonus for us nudists and shows that nudity is not as shocking as it used to be...i don't see an agde kind of thing in london but this is a start
