Hi again, just a question about using an epilator. I'm ok at getting to the main area of pubic hair but would you use an epilator on your scrotum? I'm a little concerned about things getting caught up!! I guess it would be ok as long as I keep the skin tight whilst using the epilator? are there any no-go areas for an epilator either? Thanks.

RijeosXeper, No, it removes the hair fast, but it removes more hair on the same time. Thats why it hurts more in the beginning. After some while the hairs become softer and thinner and the pain will disappear.
I shaved before and now i use an epilator for about 6 months. I do use the epilator once a week because then it pulls out just that few hairs that comes up again. If i wait some weeks it pulls out more hairs on the same time and then it tickles more.

Hey smoothy, I have a question... I found out that pulling out my pubes with just a pair of tweezers doesn't hurt me at all. I just grab the short stubble with the tweezer and yank it out as hard and as quick as I can.
However, there's too much hair to do that with a tweezer, so I was just wondering if the epilator pulls out your hairs that quickly so it won't hurt, or does it do it more slowly. I have found out if I pull it little by little, it hurts quite a bit, but If I just yank it out hard and quick i barely even feel it... |

It works very well. It will hurt the first few times you use it. The pain is no worse than waxing. Once the hairs are pulled out by the root, the hair that comes back has a root that is not nearly as deep. The hair that does come back comes back much slower and softer. The hard stubble does not come back. |

Hi, I'm also interested in getting an epilator as i'd like the smoothness for longer than a couple of days. I'll be keeping an eye on how you guys get on with yours, and good luck!

Do the epilators work well? I'm definitely considering getting one on ebay. Does it hurt when you use it? I'd love some personal feedback on the issue. Take care, and happy new year! |

There are a ton of epilators on Ebay. I bought one on a "buy it now". (it still hurt like hell) |

I got mine at Bed and Bath. I think Walmart had them also. I live in Kissimmee, FL. YOu can go to Braun.com and maybe find a retailor near you. |

I've looked for an epilator all this week in local stores and haven't found one store that has them. Smoothy, did you get yours online ? or at some store ?... where do you live ?I live in the USA... |

I did just that smoothy. I thought pulling them out with tweezers would be much more painful than it really was. I was able to pull out like 5 or so hairs (just to try out the plucking idea) and it really didn't hurt. The hairs came out pretty long indeed, and it was just stubble at that time...
I'm definitely getting the epilator Tuesday afternoon and will try it out. I'm ready for the bumps and irritation to go away and be completely smooth. Thanks a lot for your input though, experience is always better than anything. |

Once you have pulled the hairs out the first time, the hair that comes back has a much shallower root. Take a pair of tweezers and pull out a hair and you will see the root is very deep. The hairs come out much easier when they are new hairs. Two or three times and the pain should be very little if any. |
