Sadly, Gloria Massey, the owner of Nevada Sun Rancho passed away and her daughter decided not to continue the operation. Right now, Vegas Bares, the non-landed club seems to be the only option. One other popular nude activity in the area is to get a few nudist friends together and rent a houseboat on Lake Mead. With 550 miles of shoreline there are plenty of places to be nude without offending anyone or being hassled by park rangers.

Posted - 01/12/2009 : 7:04:40 PM Just posted in the other thread regarding the "vegas b&b", which is in NO way a nudist venue, but more a swinger type one. Anyway, my family and i have hoped they build a nudist friendly venue in Vegas for years but hasnt happened yet. In a market that attractes such a large number of visitors it would make sense. The problem lies with the local government not being able to separate such a venue from the "adult entertainment" industry. The "topless" pools at the major hotels are specifically designed to be a "peep show" for any liquored up 20 something male who is willing to pay an average $40 cover to see some "boobies" These hotels with these topless or european" style pools are just another way to appeal to immature young adults and in my opinion might even set the opinion of legit nudism back a few pegs.
Anyway aas for legit places to be clothes free, there are a few beaches aroung Lake Mead that I think are still nude. Otherwise the LV Bares are a good source, like was mentioned, for nude info in/aroun LV.

I was a charter member of Silver Valley and still have many friends there. I live in Northern California now, so haven't been there in a few years. The club is a little rustic, but has a small lake with a couple of islands. Camping is right next to the lake, and they have some RV hookups as well. It's about the friendliest club you will ever find, and they make everyone feel right at home. It's well worth a visit.

Posted - 10/17/2008 : 10:12:02 AM Several of the casinos now have topless pools. I havn't been to either the Flamingo or the Rio this year. But, I rather doubt they would like me pool side in a thong or www.bananapeelz.com much less nude. With the Nevada economy down, maybe someone will try a nudist themed resort (a guy can dream). (Note-flickr keeps making it harder to see my links)

Posted - 10/15/2008 : 7:15:14 PM Over the years, attempts have been made to establish a landed nudist club in Las Vegas, but zoning, etc has not allowed it. When Las Vegas Sun Club went from non-landed to landed, they did it on property at Sandy Valley, about 50 miles out in the desert, near Jean. It seems that nudity in Vegas is only ok if it's on a casino showroom stage and you're paying close to 100 bucks for the show.
