Posted - 03/30/2004 : 10:04:52 PM Anyone know of any resorts or anyplace you can go Horseback riding in the buff? I am hoping to find one for my trip from Phoenix to Miami Fl next year.
Or anyone know of any naturist events anywhere that includes Horseback riding?
Thanx

Posted - 06/30/2012 : 8:12:56 PM Hidden River Resort, on the FL/GA state line, offers horseback riding. At least I've seen horses there. You may need to bring your own horse though.

Posted - 02/26/2009 : 12:14:46 PM The chafing problem is greatly reduced by using a bareback pad. Mine is a very plush fleece and quite comfortable.
It also helps to be an experienced rider before you try it bare :)

Posted - 02/01/2009 : 09:18:52 AM Honeysuckle... It would be fun to see someone do the barrels bareback,, (not me I know better) For as much as I love being nude and proud of it. I would not get on the back of one of mine naked. If I walked out to the stalls naked (which I could not do any way) I might spook them (hehehe).

But if it is something that you want to do then go for it. At least that is one item that you can cross off your list. You can say that you did it because I wanted to and either a) I will do it again or b) I am not going to do "that" again. But you at least say that you did it. |

I tried riding horse back nude once. The insides of my legs were chapped from rubbing against the saddle. I enjoyed the ride and the feeling, but will wear pants next time!

Yep, yep. Horse hair is very rough on your skin. I tried riding nude a couple of times (oh, the Lady Godiva symbolism!) and gave up on the idea.
I do prefer to ride bareback though (the horse is bare, not me) ever since I got awful blisters on my butt from a saddle one time (my kids never let me forget that!).
Riding bareback works fine as long as you're just riding for fun and not trying to do barrel-racing or something.

Posted - 01/30/2009 : 7:10:12 PM I would consider being nude while riding a horse, but the horse would have to be naked, too.

Posted - 01/29/2009 : 10:37:21 PM I have ridden horses nude and bareback (or should I say bare and bareback?), and my male "parts" did fine, as long as I didn't bounce too much, but that's true for riding clothed also.
I have found that the shape of the horse's back makes a big difference in comfort when the rider is nude.

Thank you, Dave. I was thinking the exact same thing. A new adventure in pain.

Posted - 06/30/2008 : 4:36:20 PM oh! I would have thought "nude horseback riding" meant without a saddle. -shrug- But as per usual, don't forget your towel ;-) |
