Posted - 04/03/2004 : 6:50:15 PM Has anyone been to the Eden Bay Resort in the Dominican Republic? It does look like a great place for naturists, since the policy is to get as nude as you can at all times. And, that does include the dining rooms. The property website is very good, but if anyone has a first hand (or, other body-part) experience with this resort I sure would like to hear it. Long way to travel for a bad place. Mahalo

Posted - 02/02/2010 : 07:20:02 AM Unless they've changed their procedure, let them know what flight you're coming in on and they'll have a driver waiting at the airport to pick you up - no additional charge.
It is a 1-1/2 to 2 hour ride though over very rough road. Go to the washroom before you leave the airport!

Posted - 02/22/2006 : 12:38:45 PM Greetings! My wife and I went to Eden Bay last year during the last week of May. I really can't add much to what Cheri has said in this thread and in the Orient Beach thread about Eden Bay. She has covered just about all of it. The staff went out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The food and drinks were very good. Yes, the beach is small and it's a little rough on the feet untill you can get to deeper water but to us, that was the only down side. Jonny in the gift shop will get what you need from town if you forgot anything and he doesn't have it there. Eden Bay is *not* a party place. Low key and layed back. We were there just before - - bought into Eden Bay. See Eden Bays web site. The pictures do *not* give a true feeling of what it is like there. It's better! There are big changes comming. We are planning another caribbean vacation with Eden Bay being the second and longest of two stops. P.S. The four handed massage, down by the ocean, is.............well............. That is high on the priority list when we return!

Our plate is a little full this summer. Hope you have a great time. |

Or you can book directly with us by calling 1-866-edenbay; email us at contact@edenbay.com. You can book on-line, just go to www.edenbay.com and click "Reservations"

Posted - 11/28/2004 : 11:32:28 AM Hi Luigi, excuse me for the late reply, but I was in Belgium for work... I will check for any flyts with Virgin: I think that 700 or 800 € is really a good price! Thank you very much for your kind help

Hello Lex. Try virgin atlantic from milan via london-new york at 780 euro: you can book it on travelonline.it. I don't think you can get anything cheaper to go to puerto plata. As far as we are concerned, we book the flights and the resort via internet: it's always cheaper than a travel agent. If you need any assistance let me know |

To Lex. There are flights from milan and rome to puerto plata that you can book through alitalia: via paris-new york (air france) or via new york (continental airlines). me, my wife and my daughter are considering going to eden bay in march from milan. keep in touch. |
